The slow rate of fire actually works to its benefits on bugs where you can snap from target to target through bug hordes on full auto and hit a new bug with every shot making it surprisingly ammo efficient and easy to use, but that same low rate of fire combined with its unusually high horizontal recoil pattern makes burst firing devastator heads a bit awkward. Still, while it's not winning any awards I found it to be better than the absolutely worthless trash people make it out to be.

Game feels horible to play right now. Not just input delay. Stright up lag. Multiple times character just refused to do action or it takes seconds to do it. Only running stright feels normal right now. Same time squids just slide through wall and home attack on you. There was mission where I died more against squids then in cyberstan d10. First I throw sos beacon and it takes 5 minutes to full squad to land. Few minutes to join and few minutes to land. Just endless loading. Then there is massive lag. Everything feels slow. Weapons change slow. Swimming is slow. Diving is slow. Getting up is slow. Surprisingly gem inputs worked just fine. Game just felt shit to play. Then game refused to take me back to super destroyer. I was just stuck on loadingMaybe I take some time off and check when next patch comes if Game feels any better.

Then you have the arcing bolts that go from target to target that aren't affected by the terrain at all. Total Swigger coding issue. Once you understand the quirks, it's a fun chaff obliterator. On bots you can kill everything below tanks. On bugs the only things it wont kill easily are Bile Titans, roaches, hive lord, and impaler. On squids it's just... lmao. No Harvesters, those flying things, or the Leviathans, obviously.
