dota is a much much less interesting game nowadays. no jungle, trilane, 2 mid. every lane is 2v2 1v1. no variation in strategy. no eearly push. no late game carries. no ratting. every hero scales late, impacts early, has waveclear and farm mechanisms and most have gapclose. all niche heroes like tinker alch huskar brood dead.idk what they did to the game but i cant remember the last time barracks meant anything in pro. its just an indicaction of whos winning, the tactical advantage is so small.

>>559866968You're looking at some finnicky compounding issues.The sleeper is Shukuchi, I think, the lower cooldown letting you Shukuchi more often is a BIG amount of damage, especially when you're trying to kill it in a narrow window. I've tried to kill it as low as I feel comfortable doing- These are some solid (but achievable) items for this level/@20 minutes, so it's by no means a guarantee and even at ~22 minutes you're looking at trouble. More XP but less gold (or even a barely interested second body) guarantees this, thoughThe second is ult timing. See here I time it roughly using Geminate's cooldown (just about halfway through the second cycle is 4.5 seconds) and any later and I conceivably could've lost too much health to clean the plate.The third is maximizing -armor, around 7-8 chomps means my last attack is incoming right as The Swarm is about to fall off. Remember it's 16 seconds long and has a 20 second cooldown.I think it's a minor improvement to launch the swarm from about this far away and Shukuchi in so that you make contact right at that 7th bite, breaking it with an autoattack on the 8th bite and then ulting about 4.7(be safe :) seconds after that. You see here I end up eating the salve AND 20 charges on the wand, but that's worth imo (and I did it without the Strength talent)Not sure if swapping to STR treads is better or not, that's probably a function of the ratio between damage and healthpool.But for sure if you can time your ult to hit when you're swapping to STR briefly, you get the extra health, at least. So I think Strength on the way in and then swapping to agility after that first hit might be best (other than GIGA APM toggling between attacks and reflects), since that gives you the biggest ult heal AND lets you tank the high armor (low reduction) hits+shukuchi a little more efficiently.By no means easy but certainly effective- Much more intuitive when Tormentor was easier/you're more fed, though.

Maybe wear a Raindrop) but you'll have to have a Proximity Bomb and Blast Off coming in right at 20 minutes (make sure to not die to The Shining by being too low before you get that Blast Off to land) if you only have Rank 1. But at Rank 2 you can fuck off and just let them detonate while you're out of range, I think you probably only need something like 4 or 5 mines if you have Rank 2 at 20? The increased magic resist and base damage is way stronger when stacked.

Hero relies entirely on getting battlefury, manta, and basher. You watch map like a hawk and when some dumbass support is pushing out a lane you blink on him, fish for the bash, then pop manta when you get the bash, ult to finish, push the lane in. You need to always carry a tp in case you need to go to teamfight to chase stragglers, but never take a fair fight. Once you are 4+ slotted you can teamfight, before that you farm, eat supports, and take towers. Never TP to a teamfight you can't turn, even if this means you lose the game, you don't want to learn bad habits. Do this enough and you win 60% of games, unless you pick AM into a counter or some dumb shit.
