Hello, where the Falling frontier news at?
>>560205530
>>560206748I know, I meant it more as a general "where dem news at!" sorta post, not as genuinely wanting to re-hear about the combat update they made a little while ago.
HAK HAK HAK
>>560202989Good job updating the OP, OP.
Good morning fellow Premiers
>>560215232Oшибкa: oнлaйн-пepeвoдчик вpeмeннo нeдocтyпeн, пoжaлyйcтa, oбнoвитe cтpaницy.

>>560218272oh no poor beavers :(((
>>560218272Why is the story of this game so dark. Like why, it's a cosy city builder?
>>560218272Nani geimu
>>560219384They get better.>>560219765Probably to explain why there's metal, infected water, and also why your beavers are so easily satisfied.>>560227137Timberborn.
Ha crap. I didn't think about it, but if there's no more movement, then there's no more energy.
>can build bridges>can build bridges between buildingsso can I make kowloon
>>560232241>so can I make kowloonYou're pretty much incentivized to. Especially once you get all the zip line stuff.
>>560236642I need more science before that. I'm grossly lagging behind in science stuff.
>>560204179Mortal sins of spiderfag?>>560205530Wasn't there video linked, last thread? Repost, pls.>>560218272Wtf happened there?
>>560232241What game is this? building bridges sounds pretty comfy. Rivers keep fucking me in zephon, either not letting me spawn near them for influence focused builds or stopping my army for like 3 fkin turns. I dont think even roads help that much.
>>560243859Timberborn, the beaver city builder. It's a very comfy game
>>560243330Nah, my only sins are gluttony, wrath and lust. Also, it's the intro for Timberborn, humans disappeared, and the world is in a general drought. It's a sequel to the Resident Evil movies.>>560243859Timberborn, but it has advanced water physics. I'm thinking of adding more dams to channel the water into a single canal so the watermill generates more energy.
>>560246254>Also, it's the intro for Timberborn,Intro? But the game doesn't look like some post apocalyptic one, with dried out rivers/
>>560247502Take a good look at >>560230221 and repeat me that bit about a lack of dried out rivers?
>>560247502Toxic rivers, dried out rivers and desert maps with ruins are staples of the maps. It's just that people take screenshots of their carefully managed base that has greenery and flowing water by design not by happenstance
>>560247792>>560248536ahSo it's post apocalyptic beaver building sim.Never would have guessed from most screenshots here.
>>560213581Hyuk?
>>560256504>Hyuk?It's weird how Goofy's considered the "dope" in his friend group, when he's the only one who managed to have a kid and raise him as a single dad. Mickey and Minnie never got married and Donald Duck's got anger issues, but ol' Goofy raised a son, put him through college, went back to college as an adult to finish his degree, and got a mature librarian girlfriend. That's a real man right there.
>>560256504HYUK HYUK HYUK
>>560267326Anon went to places with this post...
boxed in here. Gonna have to kill the tribunal and even then, these rivers and coasts are going to make expanding hard.
>units don't automatically de-deploy if you issue a move command in RA2wtfthey do that in tiberian sun
>>560248734Water management is a big part of it, but the game is relatively easy. Or rather, it's hard to lose: beavers are very easy to please, and unless you starve them or let them get wounded or sick, they will only die of old ages. They can't leave, and the game isn't about balancing happiness: it's about making them as happy as possible to unlock more stuff. It's very, very oddly cozy.>>560267326Really shows how the loser is the one who get a kid.
>>560280437They do? Damn, I feel cheated, moving units is always a pain in RA2.
>>560281703well artillery and juggernauts and tick tanks do infantry can't deployjust finished tiberian sun, awesome game, now onto ra2
>>560281928I never really played the Tiberium games, except the third one? Kane's Wrath? But yeah, all my experience is from Retaliation on Playstation, and RA2, and damn, moving units in RA2 really makes me realize how except AoE2 was.
>>560282058you can press D to deploy, guess i have to get used to that when playing alliesalso vehicles might be able to auto undeploy, not sure yet, but yeah, ive also only played cnc3 before this, played 1 remaster, red alert 1 remaster, then sun, sun is an amazing game, the atmosphere etc is unmatched
>>560282213Yeah, but you can't position units in a formation, so putting GIs at a precise position is a pain, you have to move them one by one.>vehicles might be able to auto undeployNo, they don't. Some vehicles can garrison and transport units, and it uses the same shortcut than deploying, so no, they don't autoreploy.I envy you, you'll get to experience the IFV goodness. The best part in RA2.
>>560282365what makes IFVs so good? i only used em in sun becuase nod has ones that can literally tunnel underground and tunnel out on any visible part of the map so cool
>>560284349I'm not spoiling it. Just try them for yourself, pick any ally faction, and you'll see.
>>560284436uhh i guess infantry can shoot out of em? in which case that would make em cool, in generals my favorite strat is humvees with 1 engie and 4 rocket troops each and you just have a swarm of self-healing, rocket-chucking fast moving humvees that can deal with literally anything, jsut still a bit fragilebut i'll see, gonna play it tomorrow rn setting up the resolution n shit
>>560284552You will see. I'm not telling anything, you need to see by yourself.
>>560215232Have you built a wonder like this, comrade? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChjPVL7-9v0
I haven't seen anyone talk about it, but have you guys taken a look at Solar Nations 2? Its pretty solid for an indie 4x, kinda reminds me of Terra Invicta, mixed with other stuff, minus the aliens.
>>560285168>>>/vst/gsg
killed a scrin city and killed the three fates ( they are racist against the count ) . I need to fight someone to play this faction. Probobly going to fight the white muslim, I'm still mad at him for last game. My economy is huge and I havent built a military base yet lol. Idk why my ally the prophet has such a large military - this actor often gets wiped off the map before I find his main city. I got the splentics quest again so my military is a bunch of influence spawned catiffs ( I can kill a catiff to make two catiffs. Zergling time. ) I had a dark vassal I traded for a city and got lucky and got a cyber bus though my units don't need it. I used it to get my first engineer across the dozens of rivers in this map. This city is going to be extremely strong - as long as I keep killing people to get my growth up. Allied with zephon right now - idk why he only has one base and not two like the acrin. My economy is huge and I have several resource outposts. I wanted to use the witches again - you have to research all of their spells but their spells are quite strong. I prefer them to the base Voice hero. I like the melee Voice hero. The NPC's diplomacy AI should be aware I am camping too many outposts and be mad at me about it lol. This game is going to be very free.
