Writing the code is fine, but networking is black magic to those who don't know it. The AI is a homunculus that can give you the spells, but doesn't understand how they work. If you don't understand how they work, that's a problem. In a non-networked codebase, it's sometimes passable as long as things act right, but when you do this with networking, bad things can happen. Homework: do some research on entities that suffered big data breaches.

most shadows in 2D art are done using the same shapes, sphere, cube, cone, cilinder.

My advice is to practice a bit drawing and rendering these, before attempting your picture.

A trick you could make is to use an AI to generate a 3D model of the drawing, then import in blender and use blender to do the calculations of the shading, then use it as reference to draw it.

Updated how turning and movement works. There was always a turn speed in Moku but it was pretty unnoticable. Made it more pronounced, and even slowed it down when sprinting. Walking backwards now slows you down to 70% speed. Sprinting now has it so you can only sprint in the direction you're facing, though there's a brief grace period when you start sprinting for smoothness purposes.

Very pleased with my vertex buffer manager and index buffer manager

I've explained the vertex buffer manager before and how it partitions the vertex buffer by vertex attributes.

Index buffer manager is simple by comparision. Its just bump allocation with device memory basically. Similiar to the vertex manager but without vertex attribute partiioning logic.

In pic
2 partitions in vertex buffer. 3 total vertex buffer offsets, one offset into index buffer.

The way I have it set up is that you should only bind the index buffer once, even if the topologies are different (my example doesn't do this, I'll show it off later I guess). The vertex buffer gets bound for each partition.

Maybe I should implement indirect buffers next.

This is exactly where I'm at lol. I resolved to just use procgen math, honestly. Example: two sine wave parts overlaid on a grid at composable angles. Rooms stamped along intersections and near misses. Direction pairs randomized each time for variety. Parameters are then sine path config, corridor width, and room size.
