World of warcraft, no matter what version of the game, peaked at black wing lair. You start off at level 1 and you eventually your character gets really powerful and becomes level 60. Then you go through Molten Core and Black Wing Lair. Too epic raids, forever cemented in our brains. By this point you have pretty good gear. You can do any dungeon in the game, pvp, and do whatever you want. You have beat the game essentially. From this point on, it's just replacing your gear over and over as your character has barrowed power with each phase and raid. TBC was a shit reset. I hated it in 2007 losing all my progress and basically replacing all my items in outland in the starter zone. Game is plagued with this forever loop. It sucks. But every time playing 1-60 and getting that first set of purples is great. Everything from that point for 20 years is downhill.
