I just got around to finishing paradox having played the VN as it came out and I feel like ranting out to the void. Honestly, the multiverse story was okay. Felt a bit too long, left me wishing we had seen the VN timeline on screen at least a bit, but otherwise it was competent and well written.The way it picks ups the original cast and just builds on it was amazing, though. The VN already had a really strong cast and paradox put so much effort into cross character interactions, variants, fleshing out pre existing characters, etc. 12/10 for this alone. I think I liked alra priestess the most out of all the original minor characters that got a bunch of new lines. Finishing with the MGQ universe leaves an "end of an era" feeling, like pic related.Guess I have to get around to finishing three charms now. I only played the first one.

Her voice sounds exactly how I thought it would too, very quiet and monotone but still soft and cute.It helps that due to understandable plot reasons she turned out to be forcibly stripped away from your party for the entire third act and has all her levels be shunted onto an entirely inferior replacement, meaning even if I had kept her in my main party like I probably would've if Part Three had come out sooner I would've been prevented from even getting to use her in it anyways and she's actually really really strong due to her stance-change system and getting access to the Anti-Particle Railgun (which due to her trait was exclusive to her in Parts 1 and 2) as her ultimate attack, and her having very strong ranged attacks as a melee class also allows Hild to completely bypass the gimmicks of several stages and bosses as well.She's just really awesome to have here.As an aside, the Subskill Reward from the second April Fools event I've read is apparently perfectly suited for Hild to the point of almost being tailor made supposedly, so I'll be happy to equip that on her when I can.

If it's for the jobs they come with, that's generally just what works best with the girl's given trait, but some jobs are worth going for to give girls in order to help them out with the abilities or skills they get from it.Once you get to the final route though it requires you knowing how to actually optimize a mechanic (gem slots) that's really just made for that part, though, to keep doing it, which I think would've been fine if the game had done better at actually explaining it.
