Noob here. Do I apply a gameplan and follow it regardless of how things are going, or do I play reactive dota and adjust to specific behavior patterns? The best example I can give you is when during mid stage the enemy is invading our jungle constantly, supports are dying, cores are dying, yet I have a clear gameplan, stay in my lane and farm some easy waves, stack ancients and avoid unncessary risk until I hit my item timings. The problem comes from the fact that my team is growing increasingly frustrated, we're being dewarded, suffocated and pushed. At the same time running around like a maniac, picking off a pos5 lion or perhaps dying just to save face and show my team I'm helping is a coinflip playstyle, you will win and lose a lot of those chaotic battles, there's no structure. I think that's a picture perfect example of a forced 50 scenario.

In normal if you spend all game shitting on a sniper or a clinkz or a drow the game will end even if they snag a couple of kills or minutes of free farm. In Turbo if you give those heroes that kind of boost they're going to snowball and wreck the game. 20-30 minutes of dominance can be counteracted in one team fight. The game is not balanced around turbo at all. Certain heroes like Sniper, Warlock, Huskar, Muerte becomen unmanageable after 2-3 items and if they get those by minute 20 you're pobably getting double raxxed before any of your heroes come online.

>>562956094>because not only you'd get queued up with smurfs that happened to be near your MMR but also trolls who are going downuhh. you still get that experience though. you're going to keep getting matched with griefers and matched against smurfs, only instead it's a part of a weird fucked up system to try to force the match to be 50% win probability using numbers aside from MMR. which again, does not make sense because the whole point of the god damn system is to allow good players to win more so that the matchmaking system can figure out how much higher their rating should be.if valve took their fingers off the scales, then you would be playing with FEWER smurfs and account buyers, because they would, statistically, have already reached their true ranks before being matched with you. the only semi-reasonable thing they COULD do is measure your winrate over like 20 games and then if you are winning like 70% of them, then they give you more rank points for wins and fewer for losses until you normalize back down to 50%. but even that is a bit iffy
