Zonda and Nova could be goodest girl and boy with a little bit of a push, just like Copen could be bad or good with a bit of a push. It's a reoccurring theme with the younger characters. Even Kirin can go bad if the Copen DLC fight is canon-ish. They are in a constant state of change, and one of the things the Blue Morpho symbolizes in Japan is transition (along with death). The theme song of GV2's rerelease and Eden's Party is even called Tabula Rasa. I think that's one of the tragedies of killing them. But maybe that's giving INTI too much credit.

Tired of story speculation. GV4 should bring back challenges. Make some of them more like short extra levels based around arc chain mechanics and stuff. Bring back cybernetics, (they'll just replace passive image pulses, screw gacha mechanics) they'll be your rewards. For extra flair, some minigame stuff tied to side characters. Aka, basic racing or climbing challenge with one of the other characters like Gino, challenge duels, or maybe an arena challenge with a character like Gibril or something (Gibril attacking enemies with you, and you have to score higher than her by the time the clock runs out). You can also tie them into a quest line/friendship with them to make base conversations more of an interactive thing.I know INTI won't do this, but I can dream.

In fact, in the original backstory of Grazie, most of the kids, even the ones as young as 5, ended up dying in Gunvolt and Copen's assault on Eden because they deserve it. And you can say that they would grow up to just become more terrorists, so it was just nipping things in the bud. It was an eye for an eye for all the evil that Eden had unleashed.

It's very classic white hat vs black hat.Gunvolt always goes really extra in making their main villains extremely sympathetic and likable in the side material. Gunvolt and Copen, on the other hand, are usually brooding and waxing about how compassion must be eliminated, mercy is a weakness that will lead to death, you can't save everyone, etc. Edgelord shit. They're too cool for emotional shit. It doesn't really humanize them. The villains get to be joke around, be awkward, act bizarre, have emotional moments or doubts about what they are doing before they reassure themselves. The villains will even debate morality, and many of them end up being more merciful than the heroes. The ultimate sin is that they're funny, whereas Copen and Gunvolt are not. That's probably why they end up being so much more popular. It's the ultimate antihero vs antivillain battle.
