I'm kind of losing steam for Kingmaker. When the game is actually doing things it's still a great experience, but man these extended periods of downtime take the wind out of my sails. The Pitax war started and I thought that would be my next major journey and dungeon but no I completed all my tasks, even got my throne back, and I'm just sitting on the kingdom screen for several in-game MONTHS now. What the fuck is Irovetti doing? Wrath never had pacing issues this egregious >>566239197Magus is pretty straightforward, though I'm playing Sword Saint like >>566242058recommends and yeah it practically built itself. As a Sword Saint I don't even buff myself, I leave that for my party. I just prepare a bunch of touch spells for damage and my AC is 50+ anyway, I do very respectable damage and my crit rang is 15-20 with 3 attacks a turn, 4 attacks if I'm Hasted, 5 if I'm using Spellstrike so the chances of me critting at least once a turn is high. That combined with all of my fellow frontliners having Outflank means if I somehow don't cause something to explode on a crit they sure will. The only downside is that my HP is on the low end so when something does manage to hit me it can hurt a bit. I also multiclassed into Duelist because I thought it would be cool, I recommend against doing that
