I ran 50 (yes fifty) practice matches with my team against my finals setup and lost 49 of them except for a single circumstance of Suzuka managing to beat vbobo in the midgame.Then I threw in a dominator grass and dominator rudolph I made 5 CMs ago and the single xoguri I've ever built and after 10 simulations I won every single time. Try to switch your captain every time and scouting low-cost trainees that you don't have in your stable. Remember that you can momentarily place a 300 rating trainee to tank your overall rating lower (120k range) and scout from there, once you find the trainee you are looking for, you switch your captain and go back to the scouting page (it saves). I believe in you anon, you can do it in 45-60 races if you plan it well, remember to get the team skills as well
