How true is the statement that XI's visual effects are all wrong on PC, that in the PS2 version all the effects looked different/better/correct, and its because of DirectX and all of this was somehow never fixed in all the years XI has been active, even after they dropped PS2 support. I had a guy telling me this shit while we were grinding crawlies and I don't know if I should believe him or not. He's telling me that you can't even play the game with correct graphics since the PS2 version got shut down.

I started playing retail recently and I joined a LS that welcomes new players. what is with all the ancient uncs that play 6 characters at once? I don't judge someone for playing the same game for so long, that's not a big deal. paying for and playing 6 characters at once though? what the fuark??? the community is so cringe I'm thinking I'll clear all the expansion stories and dip. I don't want to mix with people like that

You are at a disadvantage if you don't do it.
