I saw Oguri Cap at a Tokyo Racecourse in Japan. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for photos or anything. She said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but she kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing her hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard her chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw her trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Berry Sweet Cupcakes in her hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Mam, you need to pay for those first.” At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the cupcakes and started scanning it multiple times, she stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any witcheck infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, she kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I analyzed why my #1 favorite lost probably a thousand times and I know i messed up badly. If I didn't fuck up her stamina she would've spurred properly and would've ended up winning. This loss has made me really motivated for next CM, I lost to my own fucking lazyness. It feels like the fire has been lit again.
>>
Don't you just find it oh so strange? There were 7 official /v/ stakes sanctioned races, last thread. And Oguri Cap won two of them, sounds like an undisputed victory right? Wrong, Valentines bourbon despite not being able to get into the main room won both of the side rooms...curious...

It's one of those few TV shows I would say is worth watching
It's got some dumb stuff in it though, and has somewhat of a slow start, but lots of iconic dialogue, good humor and interesting cinematics for a TV show. It's just well written, well acted as well. The fact it's spanned so many different memes is a testament to its quality. The follow up show Better Call Saul also has some great moments in it as well, but a different vibe altogether
>>
I'm very glad that so many people won plat or in general did very well, proud of all you neighas.
>>
I dont think i know how the matchmaking system works
I won... but i dont like how i won

The race was mine to lose.
I was the only one with a Medium S uma, let alone all 3, and the opposing trainers had records that showed they really struggled to qualify
My rank is 6489

The thing is, i had a ~75% overall winrate across both rounds, and my winrate didn't even really go down from round 1 to 2. Seriously like the others had maximum winrates of 20% on one uma with a support Natie on the team, others at 12 or 10%. Like this was on the lower end of the matchups i had in Round 1

What happened here?

I didn't even win well either even with such a bad field.. one opponent was in a position to threaten because two of my racers whiffed their heals and the only one that did heal was behind 6th place on the spurt

Finally got around to Palmster's career. I really liked the way her career was less about the usual burden of expectations on a Mejiro, and more about the lack of expectations for her as an individual. I already loved Helios, but the career really makes it clear how ridiculously sweet she is and it felt like she was a bonus trainee. I can't imagine the two of them not sharing a trainer.

I think I actually like MANT. Going back to Unity and not having access to items was driving me crazy.

Not shitting you when I say this but the lessons learned from a loss are some of the most valuable insights you can gain from a CM. There's always lessons to be learned win or lose, pay close attention to skill activation, your opponents and what's going on, where you might be falling short. What they're doing right, what you're doing wrong. It's all extremely valuable if you apply those lessons to future CMs, where you'll continue to learn new stuff and so on. If losses are treated as learning experiences you'll only continue to get better. Seems obvious but there's no point in wallowing if you cant gain any insight into why you lost
>>
>>2486744
Same. I would go as far as claim that most people like the gameplay loop of MANT, what really sucks about it is everything else. It takes forever, you have to focus, you have to grind it, it's RNG, etc

Everyone and their uncles stepbrother wants to be a content creator but when you look at the actual longevity of most content creators, they fizzle out after anywhere from 2-5 years, some might go on for 10 years, but it's very rare that they keep up their consistency without going on hiatus, dealing with extreme burnout and what have you, and that's even with them having their own companies and editors and other people working behind the scenes to get videos going. Some obviously do all that work by themselves but yeah being an Uma content creator is not really a job that I'd want myself either. I get flustered talking to you guys, but most of you are pretty smart. You go on youtube or twitter and it's not the same deal.

Content creation shouldn't really be a job. Youtube was better when people uploaded videos for free on their own time just for fun

That does remind me that one thing I forgot to mention was that Palmer has one of the few incidents where "win a race you're supposed to lose and feel sad anyway" actually feels appropriate. Her entire conflict is about being true to her real self, so fumbling her intro and regressing to her old self at the Tenno Sho and then winning still feels appropriately devastating because it was her big chance to show who she really is.

Narita Taishin, unironically. Say what you will about her and her results, but I follow that mindset. It doesn't matter if no one else thinks you can't do something. You can't win them all. There's nobody with a 100% win rate, not in a game like this. Even if you made the theoretically perfect uma, RNG in a race can force a loss on your end that's completely out of your control. Plainly speaking, you have to fuck up, dude.

I’ll watch for now. Fronts have blackpilled me and emotionally broken me, so I’ve got no hope of ever winning one of these without my own front.
That being said, I’ve officially become a villain. From now on I’m joining future stakes with a full front debuffer, every single time. If I can’t win, then they can’t win either. I’d rather have a billion Oguri reigns than ever let fronts win another stakes again.
I hope every single front trainer eats the fattest of shits.

There's definitely room to improve. I guess it just feels like how some people have a goal, they reach it and become full, others reach that goal and hunger for more. I still want to win, it's just the feeling of, I got what I wanted. What I wanted most, I got. So I suppose everything else feels more like a bonus rather than the main attraction, like Ticket winning the Derby and now she's lacking in goals.

The vast majority of debuffs won't do anything. All of the stamina ones are useless since it's a Mile and people are trying to Gutsmax so you have just the Hesitants really. Only Lunatics are running Paces so you're stuck trying to get Hesitant Ends and Fronts which sounds really bad to target given there's probably no good borrow legacy for it. There's Speed Eater and Keen Eye and that's about it.

That being said Keen Eye is about 80% as good as Dominator. And so two of them is 60% as good as two dominators, so basically like you brought one dominator, which isn't super good. I'd say it's not a strat you should bank on.

And anyhow for a debuffer to be good, it's supposed to buff your main ace. If your ace isn't all that great, you wont be able to capitalize on the debuffs

>>
>>2487057
Runaways exist to kingmake the actual best front. They set the pace way high and then die for Bourbon or Maru to win.
They also kill every other running style because the gap gets so wide that it's near impossible for them to close it.
>>
>>2487057
They're not gonna do shit to ends, but they might block A&S on this next CM because there isn't enough time for a regular front to overtake unlike the longer CMs where runaways boost fronts
>>
>>2487061
Rank and stats doesn't mean shit if you don't have actual skills to back it up, especially in MANT where you can fraud your way into a UG with a horrific deck.

For me the easiest is just being able to see THAT sheen it has that makes it offputting and immediately stand out. Then I take a closer look to see if my suspicions are correct. When there's very specific details that aren't smudged or inconsistent, then you can tell it's hand drawn. But when you look at it closely and you see all the trademarks of AI and weird inconsistencies, then it's slop. After a while you start to notice patterns and like I said an overall look that a lot of AI art has, especially with how they do the settings, the poses, the way the sweat shines off them, how plump their thighs are and so on. Some of them even have really bizarre proportions. Hands, eyes, and small details to objects usually a dead give away. TEXT is very obvious, if it's just a bunch of fake letters and symbols dead giveaway.

The resolution thing is interesting and probably the fastest way, but I prefer just looking at it.
>>
Still waiting for a fujin career dump....
>>
>>2487397
>What the fuck is NovelAI doing?
The default resolutions for NovelAI are 832x1216 (portrait), 1024x1024 (square), 1216x832 (landscape).
It is a SDXL-based model, which are optimal at 1024x1024.
832x1216 is approximately a 2:3 aspect ratio while using multiples of 64.

t. NovelAI enjoyer.

How many people has Rice murdered with her dagger?
>>
>>2487424
I'm not entirely against the idea of AI art, I just am pointing to a specific giveaway and a lot of the times I see it with how it draws thighs. Not saying plump thighs are bad, but there's a way that the AI accentuates it that makes it look offputting beyond just the way that an artist would make juicy thighs look, if that makes any sense. It's exaggerated in an uncanny way. There's also this "wetness" that you see, where they're sweaty, wet, or very shiny in certain cases. That AI Sheen.

I think I know what you mean by that sheen, and it's typical of local models that are unholy merges of photorealistic models and anime models. Pure anime models are less likely to have it, and certainly not if you take any measure to make it flat-shaded.
For me, the resolution and fine details are the giveaway. Like, that Gold City OC that was posted in this thread was accused of being AI, but I knew it wasn't because of the unlikely resolution and because of how the crossed laces and linked chains were drawn.

The Japanese never really stopped doing the "we don't let citizens have weapons" thing that Toyotomi Hideyoshi implemented. It also didn't really stop the emperor from being overthrown so I'm not entirely sure why this was kept.
Anyways, the Japanese allow like 5 weapons total. Knives, traditionally produced Japanese swords, shotguns, bows, and explosives of all things. That last one was a weird discovery and I found that out because legally model rockets are declared as explosives and NOT firearms like I figured they would be(the Japanese definition is more or less "anything that propels a projectile with a chemical reaction.") With the exception of knives (I think,) all possible civilian weapons are heavily restricted in Japan. The application process is supposed to dissuade you from acquiring one.

Can we update the stakes rules so 2 wins in a row =/= automatic win anymore?

I think we can propose some rule changes in the interest of fun, I have no problem with meta umas winning and in fact I like when strong trainers bring their best. Truth is we are very wishy washy when it comes to election integrity. On 99% of the stakes the winner comes down to "who wins 1 more". This isn't a problem because we usually have two hosts but the co-host wasn't feeling it (can't fault him) so we ended up with a single.
We could do a referendum to amend the constitution.

Woah I respect that bro cause it's a level above me. I'm simple minded so my goals are generally tangible, like a title or getting Urara to win the Arima Kinen and I end up having a blast along the way. Setting your own goals, fire.
But I agree it makes the hardcore CM training and "This is meta/best" sentiment swerve like water on a ducks back.
I'll stop blogposting now but wuv you all
>>
>>2487537
I don't mind meta winning, Biwa could have won and I'd say the same thing.
The 2 wins in a row doesn't make sense to me because the score was 2-1-1 so there could have easily been a comeback. I think it should only apply for an uncontested 2-0

It was already a little crazy back then, but in general, Obama broke the country and Trump snapped it in half, and now nothing is as it should be. The signs were there long before(California's descent started in the mid-80s,) but things really went out of control after Obama's first election.
The 2000s shows were quite idealistic but they weren't THAT far off from what I have heard(though granted, I am a tertiary source as I was living in Washington until 2012.) Now, Portlandia, on the other hand, was NEVER accurate to Portland, and ended up creating a sort of mini-Paris syndrome on Portland, Oregon.

Listen, I'm not saying I'm for or against him, I'm using him as a time mark. There was a dramatic cultural shift when Obama won and it caused the fracturing which Trump, inadvertently or otherwise, ended up causing a cascading failure with in 2015.
I'm aware I'm playing with fire by using our political figureheads as timemarks but I don't know what else to use here that'd be visible for the Euros. I could've used the 08 recession, which to be fair is probably little more accurate, but I'd have nothing for 2015.

>>2487598
Yeah, Oregon gets a completely wrong opinion. The majority is occupied by farmland, Portland is a tiny ass city compared to the vast swaths of uninhabited mountains, grasslands and a little bit of eastern desert, and though it has a lot of charm and is definitely among the most unique cities, it isn't anything like or ever portrayed on TV.
If you go in with no expectations, you might like it a lot though. Just give it a few years if you do, things are kinda dicey at the moment and they're still recovering from the clusterfuck that was the Kung Flu.
>>
>>2487613

Oh yeah, if you've idealized the nature, then you're on the right track.
Oregon has 4 real cities, and almost all of them are on the west Washington border. Everything south has less than 100k people, and there's so few settlements that it's kind of insane, really. Hell, the most unique thing about Portland is that they actually try really hard to incorporate nature in the city itself. Nature's pretty much the main thing Oregon has going for it.

It's getting more difficult because the obvious hallmarks that were easy to spot in 3 seconds aren't really common anymore. Y'know, defects like the fingers, or the eyes.
3 seconds by the ways is the upper quartile to the average time someone will spend looking at an image online.
I do agree we need to do better, but that'll require a fundamental shift in how people look at images online.

Yeah most sloppas nowadays, or, at least the ones that are properly generated and not just a quick NAI sloppa, are getting hard to call out and spot.
I think the easiest way to spot one is still the way it colors (highlights and shadows) the art.
Although this may be hard for normal folks who don't go out their way to spot sloppas or generate one or draws/color fanarts. I used to color some manga panels for fun before even AI art was a thing, and I get into sloppas for self entertainment so it's pretty easy for me.

That particular scene is about how Jordan laments how she's not as smart or can't use her brain like all the other racers. Meek doesn't have a canon casual outfit and AFAIK we're never really shown what she gets up to in her free time when not training with Kiryuin (other than liking aquariums), so for all we know she COULD actually be a gyaru and we just never get to see her dressed like one

Tired of failed ace and parent runs? Are you training milers for Gemini but still want those Brian star pieces? Have you finished your /v/ triple crown aces but don't feel like making anything for Gemini just yet?
May I interest you in this friday the 22nd's Shiraoki Cup?

>>
>>2487945
The TL;DR is that she has a massive inferiority complex because she was born in the same generation as Orfevre (in real life Win Variation came close many times to winning G1s including both the derby and the kikua sho, only to be beat out by Orfevre by a very small margin) and her whole story is about overcoming it and finally shining. I really like her song as well, it captures her feelings quite well.

Unironically 1* have some degree of standards, the only 1 star that got added post launch was Twin Turbo and the IRL horse despite the meme ineffective as fuck running style (oonige with no stamina or self control who prefers longer distances) managed to bag 3 G3s, one of them against Rice Shower.
>>
>>2488090
Do you think they're just sending him to job to the frogs for nothing? Yanko was actually purchased as being a turf horse because of his pedigree (Real Steel as sire and Deep Impact as grandsire) and almost everyone believed he would be a turf horse too. Once he was considered suitable for dirt Yahagi wanted him to debut on it since Real Steel was a late bloomer so he thought starting on dirt would be easy on his legs before he developed fully. Now, he ended up crushing it on dirt so they took that path for his career but from my understanding the way he runs isn't typical of a normal dirt horse, if he actually enters the race is because Yahagi saw the potential
>>
>>2488150
1 stars we have now are actually pretty good though, several of them winning G1s and/or entering other big races and stuff (urara is an exception)

A different PvP mode, much less stressful than CM. Instead of plat being based off of one race it's based on the consistency of your team among 100+ races against many opponents. Fronts are meta but its very overblown because reaching the max league (where the max carat rewards are) is not too difficult regardless of style if you are a good trainer. After that it's a battle for leaderboard supremacy. You can actually get a real life trophy if you place high enough (only for Japanese locals though, no idea how global will handle it)

A lot of artists basically don't want their work being mirrored on art aggregator sites or having it reposted on social media (or worse, being posted on the same exact platform by someone else but without credit), in part because it takes potential engagement and growth away from their actual accounts. It can be kinda difficult as-is to cultivate an audience on social media, and for some of them, their art actually is their livelihood to some extent.

Personally, as an aspiring artist, the idea of some fuckwad taking something that someone else made and posting it on reddit or something for cheap upvotes is what gets me the most. I guarantee you that most people probably aren't thinking or talking about anonymous imageboards when they say not to repost their stuff, though.

Okay I'm back and revitalized!

Now let's talk oonigers, a few questions for anyone and everyone, front trainer or not but I'd like to hear from both

In your experience, how strong do you think ooniger front teams are?
Do you feel that they're better than regular front teams without an ooniger?
For those who run Oonigers, how do you build them? What types of stats do you prioritize? Do you stack a bunch of debuffs on them?

The only time I ran Suzuka as an oonige was during one of the Unity CMs. I actually built her as an ace, so she wouldn't gas and would actually win races and she was surprisingly good. But I know that for MANT CMs that's not really possible, so she's just a support front-buffer so I was just wondering how you guys build around it, or those who run into her, do you think she's a meme or is she a thorn in your side?

And for those who run Oonige teams, how do you build your fronts to capitalize off it?
>>
>>2489037
only if they were soulful wins
>>
>>2489037
This was also my 5th plat and I consider myself on the lower end of second rate.
>>
>>2489040
I got ulala
>>
>>2489049
I've gotten the feeling that an oonige helps pace as well as front teams. Can anyone confirm?
>>
>>2489049
As a backline team, in the previous CM, if I saw 2 fronts and a big nig, I knew that my win very unlikely because it was going to be the Front show, while I could and did regularly beat non-runaway Front teams. There was no reason not to stack debuffs on them since they weren't going to win anyway and you wanted them to get overtaken by your real aces anyway, which also means that you only care about capping wit so your skills fire as well as making sure you can win the races to unlock the runaway event.

Keep in mind whether runaways cuck fronts of A&S or chariot them ahead depends on track distance, this upcoming CM is much more likely that you fail to overtake in time.

>>2489060
Helps is a relative term, because it gives them a better shot relative to the ends and lates, but it boosts fronts even more.
>>
>>2489060
I've seen ooniggers being used to kill fronts with some success, but I have no idea how to make them do it and why it works.

Ah that makes sense. I believe the time where I ran oonige as an actual ace was in a similar Mile Cm and in fact, other fronts did not catch up to her if you built her to win. But since it can only be trained in Unity, no way are you making an ace oonige for CM14. I'm probably just better off running a third front or a pace, or an end closer as my third. Would still like to hear more from any oonige fans out there. Like I remember hearing someone had to remake their oonige because it had too much stamina or something so it wasnt gassing fast enough. I find those dynamics interesting

>>2489049
oonige is a legit strat, i think it was during Virgo where it was first used and had mixed results because you needed really good stats on top of your regular front setup so you really had to keep rolling for that GW, 1200 speed 600 stam 1000 pow 1000+ wit statline with good skills
then Scorpio came around and oonige really showed it's true power, with a longer track the position keep was further away thus allowing the oonige to create much more distance without going into unreasonable amount of stamina once again the counter to this strat was bringing your own so they would battle for position and die.

basically oonige shine where the track is long enough to create distance but not long enough to push them into 1200+ stam, tokyo 2000 was perfect for this.

right now they're only useful as boosters for fronts or if you make a really good one they can also block angling which doesn't really seem that useful.

GL is where we will first encounter 2 ooniges in the same team fighting for position, depending on the stat/skill inflation it may be possible for a double runaway team to be viable

>>
>Go into pubs to test umas

>>
>>2489049
My only two plats were both won with runaway suzuka on my team. I think that Oonigers are pretty strong as a supporting role. All they really need is high wit, TTL, and groundwork, which makes them easier to build than most umas.

I suspect soon that double oonige will become a common-ish sight. All you need is a couple gold recoveries and a lot of midrace skills and they become uncatchable.

>>2489060
I used a runaway as a blocker and NSM activator on my pace and it worked really well. That's really track dependent, though, and I doubt it would work nowadays given how much fronts have evolved.
Don't know how much it helps pacers otherwise.

that was me, i threw in my Scorpio Suzuka for round 2 after seeing other people here running a front booster sorry danchou

sometimes she really just refused to die and if she ever activated her unique it denied angling for other fronts, i wish i had a hard number but i'd say it happened 40 to 50% of races

Group A finals alone is like top 10% or so, iirc, and you've done your job as a trainer if you get there. Winning the finals is purely down to luck, sometimes you're the 70% round 2 guy who jobs, and sometimes you're the 20% round 2 guy who clutches it. If you want to know if you were robbed or not, you can always upload the replay to Hakura since it does give predicted win odds based on all it's data. Was interesting to see that I was the favorite despite the fronts and UG monster

If it makes you feel any better I also lost A finals because of Dober getting rushed. I was up against two teams who both had Maru/V Bourbon/Dominator and the only girl I had in 6th was Dober. As soon as I saw her get rushed I just gave up all hope.

I've seen double front(VBobo, Smaru)+ Taishin, Triple front with the two + seiun and double front + Ooniger, but almost all umas are at least SS speed , 550-ish stam and S to SS power, guts and wit.

Fucking hell. I know people say that the data for this is skewed due to whales but no, end closers are a pain right now. I think it's nice that there's at least two classes rather than just one being absurdly strong, but you feel sorry for pace and late. They can make it work, but seems way less consistent. I'm tempted to run a pace myself. What's Front Front Pace looking like?

it's alright, i always try to bring atleast one uma that i like into each CM instead of full metafagging, a lot of this data is skewed anyways goldship was very popular and very dominant in public rooms while i didn't really find a lot of them during CM
>>
>>2489193
It's almost like 2 new cards with useful golds for Ends just came out and the next track works with Straightaway Spurt so having the gold version is kinda good
>>
>>2489193
18 rooms are very unfriendly to backliners and with how tight the current track is, I don't see that changing. Hell, the 18 room I did see her win, it was a late Taishin instead of an end one.
>>
Stop using numbers when referring to CMs please, I have no idea which number is what CM. And no I will neither look it up nor memorize it in some other fashion.
>>
>>2489191
I know everyone says you're bricked if you don't have Mr CB so you can borrow Bamboo Memory
BUT
I think it's also perfectly manageable just to cope with one, Mr. CB, and then stack on more mid-race to make up for it. Even a F2Pshi/taishin/tamamo etc can make due that way. It would probably be way easier than building a front if you're not used to it.

>oooh but it's not worth it you're bricked without Mr. CB

Counterpoint: The ones who are bricked are those who don't run end closers, and an end closer at half its potential still buts the shit out of late surgers, pace, and even sometimes front if built strongly. You dont NEED both those golds/cards to do well as an end closer, but you should borrow one. food for thought. Feel free to call me a retard in the comments

Ah, that's a good point. I lost a few as a backline team due to Xoguri's nabbing that spot for free. It's really problematic if you let them have that contested.

I've had 80% win ratios with single front teams, but I got burned in the finals and am still pissed about it. You need your backliners to actually be good for it to work. Rely too much on the front and you're screwed

Quite the opposite for me. I’m deep in strategy just to make it easier for me to half ass my team, work smart and all that. When mixing strategy, laziness, and low-tier umas you wind up with a stew of inadequacies that would make most first rates cringe. As a nooticer trust me it had all his trademarks. What you need to understand about scatjeet is that he actually plays the game but is an extreme third rate. Part of his grudge comes from 1. Being annoyed that everyone told him to fuck off for spamming shitty AI art and
2. Being pissy because he asked for advice, didnt like the advice he got and started lashing out at people
He plays the game, but he holds a grudge over those things. I dont see him shitposting here often but he does make a lazy attempt on stakes days to try and stir up some kind of artificial war between /v/ma and /uma/

I'm going to drudge this up again: Airsoft guns in Japan are rated for anything up to 320fps/97m/s(assuming standard 0.2 gram BBs,) and can only be handled by adults. Anything higher and it's considered a real weapon and illegal to use. (The Japanese do allow 0.135 joule weapons for those between the ages of 10-17, but you cannot legally buy them if under age, and that's 120fps/36m/s, making them woefully underpowered airsoft guns.)
In the rest of the world, the average airsoft gun is anywhere between 340fps/103m/s and 400fps/120m/s.

He has been trying this shtick for over half a year now
>shitposts about /uma/ on /v/
>goes to /uma/, “/v/ma is making fun of us again”
>/uma/ and /v/ma: fuck off retard no one cares
It gets him (You)s sometimes so I guess that’s enough if it never amounts to anything. If that doesnt work, he tries to stir up drama with clubs which also goes nowhere because club banter is baked in to our regular routines, nobody is phased about it and actually enjoys shitflinging. He’s mostly been staying on /v/, but he’s really latched on to the re/vg/ees TOOK ERR STAKES angle to some mild success. Make sure to just ignore him if you see any of that even if you dont like /uma/, just dont feed into it. They dont care about us, we dont care about them, they’re free to participate so long as they dont make a stink. But the schizo likes to play off that tribalism so be kind to your neighbors

People who don't acquire A umas, like me. I can start randomizing the ranks if you'd like though.
Is it really that difficult for you to accidentally flub a career and end up with a B? Or do you just glue every bad run?

>>
should I race a lot in MANT????
I once read an anon saying that top tiers do like 40 races and I'm doing nowhere near that number, why is that? I feel like winning races doesnt even give that many stats
>>
>>2489616
>You say newer players but it's all the same players joining
How do you do, fellow novices?
>>
>>2489607
First rate flubs are A+ at the lowest generally speaking, but more like S
>>
>>2489628
I run an average of 38 races
>>
>>2489628
Aim for 33-38 races
If you’re not running mile races it will be lower. Milelets suffer. 40+ is for freaks and whales or extreme high rolls. The important thing about races is more items but also more SP for more skills which is everything. Just follow one of those preset schedules, hopefully someone posts one. Need to do a specific set of races to get stat boosts from the epitaphs, but it’s dependent on your trainees distance aptitudes
>>
>>2489641
I was going to post the image but the catbox extension is being fucky on my end.
>>
>>2489628
It's not so much that racing itself gives you a lot of stats, but rather, racing gives you epithets and shop money, which are what give you the bulk of the stats (either directly or indirectly). The schedules on which turns at minimum you're expected to race are mostly set in stone, and you mainly deviate if there's a sufficient tasty training on what is normally a race day.

https://uma.guide/agenda-planner/

You can use one of the presets in this planner to see what a typical schedule for an uma with certain aptitude spreads would look like, or play around with it to see how adding or removing given races changes things.
>>
>>2489628
>I feel like winning races doesnt even give that many stats
Winning itself isn't a lot of stats, but once you convert the 100 coins to stats (either directly via scrolls or indirectly via anklets / megaphones / energy) it adds up to a lot.
>>
First rates average SS+ umas that have 37-40+ races
Second rates average SS umas that have between 31-36 races
Third rates have less than 30 races
>>
>>2489628
You get quite a lot of stats assuming you get lucky with shop items. Then you get a fuckton of skill points on top for free.
>>
>>2489628
it's a bit jarring going from URA/Unity to MANT but you absolutely should race, it gives you points, rivals give you skill hints and ephitets give you even more stats they may seem low but it adds up, for starters you should race most G1s available to you
>>
>>2489616
You made me curious so I decided to count them. With the current numbers, including the new OP race(sorry whoever joins later,) we've got
