Well, would ya look at that!Honestly, this is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, it's a Dynamax shiny found without the Shiny Charm, so that's cool as fuck. Plus it's in my favorite Pokeball. On the other hand, I already caught a shiny Reshiram in a Beast Ball years ago in Ultra Sun, so it doesn't feel as special. This also means I'll have to either find another one when I do a second playthrough of Shield, which is a massive crapshoot, or roll the dice on a 1.25% chance getting it in Scarlet, neither of which are very appealing to meStill, pretty cool shiny. Kind of wish this was the Zygarde I caught instead, but I can't complain

The true bulk regarding Meltan spawns are from Meltan Boxes, these feature one automatic spawn in your current location every 45ish seconds for a time period of 60 minutes. You need to catch one or wait for it to despawn in order to get the next spawn, they won't accumulate around you. For these events tech is: open box, check your spawn, if not shiny run away and wait for it to despawn then check again. If you can play with alt accounts then more chances for you because observed shiny chances are around 1 or 2 per box IF lucky. Lastly, Meltan can only evolve in GO and it requires 400 Meltan candy, each Meltan caught (without candy boosts) gives 3 candy so don't forget about that too before transferring a shiny Meltan to HOME

Generally speaking, So long as you're high leveled, have False Swipe and some way of putting it to sleep, you're golden. Gallade is generally the best on account of having access to both False Swipe and Hypnosis, which it only learns as a Kirlia. Parasect is another good choice, packing the more accurate Spore and Damp as a Hidden Ability, but it's saddled with a 4x weakness to Fire and Flying type moves as well as being generally slow as fuck>You can't use the Trevenant method on them, so what do you use?Pokemon like the Abra family and Mr. Mime can learn Trick, so you can have a few of those in reserve to give whatever you're hunting a Leppa Berry to buy yourself a bit more time, however you'd only be able to do this a maximum of 5 times or so, so it's really not that worth it. Harvest isn't introduced until Gen V, but even then it's a Hidden Ability, so odds are you won't have access to it
