At what point do you switch packs? I've been opening only Charizard and I have 2x Charizard Ex, 2x Moltres Ex, 2x Machamp Ex and 2x Exeggutor Ex. I guess it's a pretty casual game so it's not a big deal but I had a weird match where my opponent seemed baffled I was willing to let a Moltres ex get killed and give him two points against his mewtwo deck since I figured that he wouldn't have the energy setup yet to finish off my Arcanine ex before I rushed him down and won. He didn't even kill my Moltres ex, he took some time to think, retreated his Jinx to replace it with the Gardevoir and let me kill his Gardevoir without really doing about it in two turns. what was his endgamethough it was probably just some kid playing on his brother's/dad's phone but he seemed to have an idea what to do at the start

Try cutting some trainers from your deck and including a few go-first options. Meta decks aren't set in stone, nothing is forcing you to adhere to a set list that's disadvantaged going first.Playing Mewtwo? Include Clefairy, it can evolve and attack and isn't weak to dark. It really helps to run a Jynx as fodder and be smart with your Sabs and X Speeds, they’re not only for kill combos in M2 but for recovering time in the damage race.
