If Briar saw a Terapagos in person which she did in the games with Kieran and Carmine by her side, then she'd have ground to get involved again because she has first hand experience with the Terastal Form of the turtle. The same goes for Carmine. Not to mention that now that they actually visit and use the locations of the DLC the odds of her popping in again within the blueberry academy are fairly sized.
