Surf has a less noticeable ceiling but I'm pretty sure its doing a lot more as its repeated god cc that does fuckloads of damage(early on atleast) while Psyduck just sprints around leaving it hard to escape.
It basically can just auto rape a lane and still locks down skirmishes later on still. Bubblebeam doesn't instantly become a death button as it atleast has a buildup period and thats the distinct issue.
Bubblebeam to me feels atleast almost balanced; its damage is funny sure and its good at skewing team fights but i don't think thats exactly out of range of what something like Psyduck should be doing.

Psychic is weird yeah. I don't think the move is bad per say, but its competing with a pretty absurd move. Some of it might be just cause people aren't exactly adapted to Disable and/or want to try the more fancy move though.
Its a perfectly functional and does allow surf to be degenerate in a slightly different way(does fuck all for bubblebeam though; which is probably isn't helping its case). So it could do with something extra.

They want to stick it to paypigs and and they know how strong it is. Psyduck not only has good mobility because of swift swim and surf to make a run for it or kill squishy mons but its very tanky as a support mon. It lived through my sludge/beam combo which normally knocks out any attack/speeder/support mon at full health.

If its its not surf then bubble beam range works just as good and both Psychic moves are solid. The pattern is Ho-oh is a defender who played support. Cer was a speeder who got the buffs/stats to tank hits like an all-rounder, Arm is an attacker who can play as an all-rounder with fire spin and now Psyduck is a support who can play as a CC attack or CC all-rounder while supporting its allies/nerfing enemies.
Basically these new mons are not limited to 1 role exclusively like other mons.

I use Surf for when I wanna push the enemies around away from my squishies, or Bubblebeam if we have great team fighting ability.
The instant stuns from Surf are really good, though, and pairs very well with Disable.
Plus you can just swim around and still use your autos.
Psychic doesn't feel nearly as useful as the damage and cooldown increasing of Disable, so I don't pick it.
Usually try to focus on stunning carries that dive on our squishies.

Huh, I just thought of something, if every release mon gets a sticker, what's going to happen to the Panic Parade Tinkaton sticker?

Tinkaton Summary since we got gameplay today and ChicoEevee still sucks at showcasing things

TINKATON
>Novice All-Rounder

Passive: We have no fucking idea because he doesn't post the passives, but from the look of it, Tinkaton is a scaling 'mon. Its boosted auto is tied to a meter, which fills slowly and fills more when it gets hit. Its boosted autoattacks look like big AoE swings too. Every time Tinkaton hits an opponent with a move, it gets a Hammer stack, which makes its autoattack range larger.

RS: Small AoE dmg + stun
FW: Skillshot dmg + slow

>Lvl 5 Thief or Ice Hammer
Thief: Self-buff that increases movement speed, faster when approaching CC'd targets. Autoattacking with Thief buff reduces enemy's Def and Sp.Def and gives those stats to Tinkaton temporarily

Ice Hammer: Short-range jump into AoE that damages, slows and reduces the Atk + Sp.Atk stat of enemies hit for a moment

>Lvl 7 Gigaton Hammer or Smack Down
Gigaton Hammer: Charging move that deals damage and throws enemies on hit. The longer you hold it, damage and stun time on hit are increased. As a bonus, this move benefits from passive Hammer stacks; more stacks = larger slamming AoE

Smack Down: Has no in-game description right now. It works similar to Gyarados' Bounce; hold down the move to charge, and release to toss a rock at a location. It seems like the move's range is based on Hammer stacks.

Lvl 9 Unite Move: ???
First cast: Tinkaton blows Sure-Hit kisses at a target, stunning it and anyone near them.
Recast: A massive damaging AoE that can be moved; doesn't have to hit the stunned target if you don't want it to.

Passive: Again, no description, but a meter under its health indicates it has 5 stages corresponding to movement speed. Maybe its autos deal more damage with each stage? It looks like Rapidash occasionally gains a shield and Unstoppable with 2+ speed stages, lasting until the shield is broken, which is insane lmao

>Lvl 1 + 3 Confusion + Tackle
Confusion: dmg AoE around horse, buffs your speed if it hits an enemy
Tackle: sure hit dash that slows enemy

>Lvl 5 Dazzling Gleam or Fairy Wind
Dazzling Gleam: It's Hecarim's Q if you've played League. Big dmg AoE that can be cast while moving. Might also slow enemies? Doesn't have a description yet.

Fairy Wind: Sort of like Tsar Triple Axel but with 3 individual casts. The move deals damage in an area after a short dash, and can be recast twice. The third cast will stun enemies in the area and deals additional damage based on Rapidash's current movement speed.

>Lvl 7 Smart Strike or Agility
Smart Strike: Sure-Hit dash that stuns the enemy. Rapidash ends up behind the enemy as well.

Agility: Self-buff that grants movement speed, and grants even more speed the longer Rapidash has it. You can extend the buff's duration simply by moving, as well as by hitting opponents with moves.

Dash in a direction, shoving enemies. At the end of the charge, a huge triangular field will be placed around the first enemy hit by the charge, trapping them within the triangle (like Mean Look). Rapidash can recast the move to dash again. If the recast dash runs through any part of the triangle, it can be recast a third and final time.
