Butterfree is shit because it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Healing in general doesn't work as a "control" win condition, because the strongest control decks all have extremely powerful OHKO attacks, or attacks which can outpace even the strongest healing. Blastoise and Charizard can both kill a Venusaur even with two Butterfrees, Erika, two Potions, etc. Maybe the Blastoise can't 100% kill through all of that, I think if you have literally everything it becomes a 2HKO.But otherwise, the actual point of healing is to race SMALL decks. Healing can't help you beat large decks, and can help you beat and out-value small and midrange decks. Therefore, it's not actually a grindy control element like it seems on the tin. Healing with Butterfree every turn lets you squeak out an extra hit vs a Pikachu, not beat the Charizard that's been building up the whole game. And so I feel that Butterfree has no nice. It is promising that you will heal a bunch and stall the game out until you win, when that reality will never really come.
Ever since they removed bent packs, I have now become a lucklet. Opened 7 or 8 packs and zero Ex or any rarity higher. Maybe like 1 or 0 new cards per pack. My wonder picks have also been trash, missed every pick for the last 10 picks.Any adivise from other luckletts? I'm considering changing the time I pull. Any good luck methods youve discovered?

You just don’t have an answer to / back up plan for big hp win cons otherwise. I like zebstrika, but potion really detracts from its value. Electrode is also decent, but I don’t think running more than one stage 1 line is a good idea here, especially when electrode’s biggest contribution is as an x speed. Pincurchin still has a place on the team at 1 or 2, I think. The slight boost to pika’s damage consistency is arguably better than slotting in more trainer cards.

I just played a game with my Charizard deck, and I had to stall for NINETEEN (19) TURNS in order to get Charizard on the field. How is this okay?I won, but only because the other guy was playing some shitty Machamp deck. If it was any other deck at all, like a Pikachu deck, I would have lost long ago.
