Some decks are too strong, and those decks happen to want to go second. I think they majorly fucked up making a mana charge system game but lowering the number of prize points it takes to win, bipolar unbalanced mess, not to mention it degrades the playability of stage 2 mons who get filtered by whether they're win cons or not, gameplay needs severe redesign

Tbh the only major change I’d make to this game aside from subjecting Misty users to hard labor is to limit X Speed to 1 per deck. Players who brick should be able to gambit a defensive Sabrina to stall and it requires more thought toward the use of the single X Speed in general. Decks that want to attack go second, decks that want to evolve go first. The problem right now is that not enough pokemon want to evolve and lots of pokemon want to attack. The best thing you can be doing right now is slapping a bird, mewtwo, or pikachu on the field and attacking with it ASAP.

Less HP than Mewtwo, less reliant than Mewtwo, same energy cost as Mewtwo, etc. Sure you can randomly blow up a Charizard that Mewtwo can't, but any shell that Golurk goes into, Mewtwo would most likely be a better option because it's better, it's a basic, and it retreats for less. Literally just completely overshadowed by Mewtwo. If we ever get a no-EX format, it might see more play.
