I'm currently still ruminating on Scrafty's design, but I intend for Erikosian Scrafty to have a new original evolution as well. For Scrafty I'm thinking of pushing its shed skin into the direction of looking like a full hoodie, with it casually standing with its hands in a pouch most of the time. The line has sharp icicles that grow from its shed skin that it uses as knives in combat and Scrafty is going to hide them in its hoodie pockets, only pulling them out while in combat. I'm still trying to come up with ideas for Scrafty's evolution which has been a little tough, but I kinda wanted to invoke something similar to Kingambit in its design as a dominant leader-like figure in the evolutionary line.

My idea is that the final evolution is a snow setting mon that gets its speed boosted in snow as well, basically capable in lore of whipping up a blizzard as its command, so it also has special moves like Blizzard or Sheer Cold for that, even though it's a pretty weak on the special attacking front. I intend for Aksel to make use of a lot of its ice moves as Hawk evolves, especially abusing Blizzard in double battle scenarios.

Midge update: did some rp with someone on the kairos server. They immediately shifted into Yuri mode with their goth lady character. I stayed in character while trying to get across that Midge is more into her bugs right now. Tonight's real nice, perfect 30 degrees-- not too cold-- but still cold enough to snow. Wet, clumpy snow that sticks to everything to the point that even if we had a blackout we'd still be able to see everything and makes winter look a bit less unpleasant and more like a white wonderland.
