How the fuck am I supposed to beat the dragon-type blueberry trainer? I saw a site online saying to use the Chi-Yu legendary bead carp and Flutter Mane, but I'm playing Violet so I don't have access to Flutter Mane.

I've tried using the bird Legendary from the Loyal 3, but it dies to the Flygon's earthquakes too quickly thanks to its Poison/Fairy typing. I've tried using the Cresselia from Legends Arceus, and it survives for longer but it does nearly no damage - that Dragonite is just stupid bulky. Nothing I try seems to work!

Is there a specific team I'm supposed to build to beat this guy from the pokemon in his area?

I managed to beat the other three gym leaders in this DLC, though the Fairy- and Steel-type gym leaders required me to change up my team to attack their weaknesses.

Training process is the opposite of tedious in Scat/Vomit. You can just force feed your mons ~52 vitamins (which you can buy) and copious amounts of exp candy (which you can also buy at the Blueberry shop). There are nature mints to change the stat spreads (which you can buy), and you can just straight buy bottle caps from the stores to give to the hyper trainer. Also you can get the ability changing items from the item printer pretty regularly.

If you are unsure of something then you'd should cross-reference the event mon with Event databases. If it is something with more "flair" (a mythic, an older gen shiny legendary, etc) then its easier to notice errors like a wrong ball or OT.

Sure, there must be other kinds of checks in place but anything could be generated with Pkhex and sanitized to clear HOME's checks. This last point means HOME is not perfect or infallible and it is up to you if you keep something under blind trust

Thank you for that knowledge anon, I didn't know about that so that should hopefully help me but even with my two accounts I doubt I'll get it with the time I have left. I've heard of those odds but I've not had that type of luck with them personally I just barely managed to snag a shiny sword and shield dog.

Genesect can be easily duo'd with your alt and some fire type firepower, but someone who happens to just live in manhattan, zaragoza, santa monica etc can just throw shitmons in the face of the bug and get it as soon as they can join raids.
