This event has convinced me that mmr is real though, the players I’ve faced are much worse than the ones I get in the normal queue and have silly decks like Heliolisk in Pikachu, to boot
I'll say that collecting all cards is like 70% for me, battling is 30%. I still do all events and battles (got all the trophies so far), but the gameplay is really simplistic here. It just can't keep up with what can be done in something like MTG.However I really like how smooth and clean the client is and collecting is fun so for now I'm interested and doing my daily minutes in it, pretty close to Mew now.

I'm talking noticing you have picks expiring in 6 and 8 minutes and checking before the 8u minute expiration to get an extra roll. The game made 26 M in its first week but people realized there was nothing to do so most people including the vast vast majority of its content creators abandoned it, and it was so dire that the company put out an official apology dev letter. They didn't really learn their lesson it seems with this game. They just have more of a cushion because cards suck players in harder.

This game needs two things1) let you choose which energy shows up in multi-energy decks2) introduce one more mechanic, I dunno something that introduces more options as to possible plays. Maybe some kind of interacting more with the enemy hand or even your discard pile
