Onix isn't just a donothing wall because it has access to energy Accel via Brock and can actually threaten from the active spot without needing to hard commit, which you have foreknowledge of if Brock is in your hand. basically got sick of Weezing bricks and wanted to run a deck with a lot of different options.Still playing around with the trainer ratios, there are 2 copies of X Speed because I usually don't fill the bench entirely with fatmons or even evo Jiggly immediately until I want to seriously push with it in order to risk them taking something important or killing my momentum with Sabrina. Hitmonlee is in the deck for this reason, it's a fighting basic without high energy cost or high retreat cost, and can also pick off stray EXs that barely escaped an assault from Wiggly or Onix.

I think its genuinely evil to have a winstreak reward in a game so genuinely dependant on coinflips. Everyone plays PikaEX because it is by far the most consistent strategy and deck. High damage, almost no setup required, and the nature of Pika EX's basic Spam means that Sabrina is far less useful here than it would be against something like Charizard or Mewtwo

This event forced me to actually play my good decks against for the first time in a month (charizard/arcanine) and wow wiggly is kind of a dog shit cars. Like it forces you to bank on coin flips for entire games. I have never seen a wiggly deck that didnt depend on one coin flips for the whole thing. Also it just auto loses to anything it cant 2 shot. Needing to stuff 3 energy on a 140 hp card that gives the opponent 2 points kinda sucks
