Aerodactyl EX seems like absolute shit. It only stops them from evolving their active. Think of how many times you've Sabrina'd your opponent early on to screw with their energy just for them to have X-speed. And now some decks will be running Leaf as well. And the Sabrina is just 1 card invested to have that happen to you. Aerodactyl EX needs 2 cards. And it needs a turn with the fossil out. Also you'll need to spend resources to switch it in, because you will never start turn 1 with a fossil as your active.Also you need to specifically draw Aero EX+Amber which is way harder than Stage 1+basic/pokeball. By the time that happens they'll likely already have their shit evolved. Assuming they aren't just hitting you with a Pikachu EX by that point. And its stats aren't even impressive. Might as well be playing a Starmie EX and have the reliability of pokeballs.I'm not even convinced that it's better than standard Aerodactyl, and if it doesn't get some crazy trainer card to support it then I bet that a week from now for every "wow Aerodactyl EX is bullshit" post there will be 5 more people thinking "I can't believe people thought this would be good".
