After playing a shot ton today I have lots of thoughts:Celebi is good. It's almost certainly tier 1, BUT it has some weaknesses compared to m2. With gard, zard, and now serperior, red card is a must (it pretty much was beforehand anyways). Serperior has the advantage that old energy gets doubled over hard, but it has the disadvantage that if you sabrina and kill the serperior, all the energy goes away. With my current Mewtwo list (one new, no budding, 2 slab) I feel that I have a slight edge because they have to pile all their energy on one pokemon. Putting m2 on the bench with 3 energy makes it extremely difficult for celebi to win. Blaine vs. Celebi is a joke and I'm 11-1 in that matchup today. I like playing just 4 basics in Celebi, but some metagames could call for a new or the green Lapras card. Often it's best to charge up separate celebis in case one dies. Mewtwo is really fucking good. In exchange for not doubling old energy, mewtwo gets significantly improved consistency with the slab. Mew is a great tool in the mirror, but it's often mediocre in matchups. Mew is also easy to play around. Not sure if Pika is dead or merely sleeping, but it's nice to not need baby mewtwo anymore. Mewtwo is almost certainly tier 1. Leaf was a MASSIVE improvement for this deck. Make sure you're packing 2 Sabrina to pull and shoot snakes with. Zard got a lot worse. Not only is celebi on the draw quite good at quickly killing moltres, but also it can even take out full zard, which m2 could never do. I wouldn't recommend zard right now, but it's raw power makes it solidly tier 2 if it fell out of tier 1.Pika I played the least today. The stun hamster seems quite good, and the new Pikachu is marginally better than the old pikachu IMO. Make sure to pack your red card and 2 Sabrinas here too to fight the celebi menace.Blaine has always been tier 2 (despite what some think), but it got a little better with new ponyta and magmar. Magmar is a fine 3rd ninetails, but I cut it

Vaporeon is kinda fucking scary. One of the pay offs to killing a strong mon is that you take away all its energy when it goes down. Vaporeon is shuffling around that shit, also it can just get lucky with misty, sit on 4 energy and transfer it to something strong and you lose. I haven’t lost to it yet but it just makes water lamer.
I do think celibi is the best deck but not by such a degree that it needs to be nerfed, it is also nice that blaine shits all over it.overall I'd wait a few days at least for rgw meta to stabilize before we start talking so matter of factly.

ok, so I've been having a weirdly high amount of wins with this deck.1 magikarp2 chatot2 helix fossils1 gyrados1 omanyte1 omastar2 x speed2 pokeball2 handscope2 pokedex2 professor's research2 mistyit looks like dogshit but it plays out pretty constantly thanks to chatot's ability to cycle though your deck and your ability to start on him almost every game thanks to the only 3 basics in the deck.you can find misty and gyrados very easily and gyrados being a stage 1 is huge for this deck and the reason we play it over traditionally stronger options like Blastoise EXthe omastar line is in here as a back up plan that cost us very little thanks to it using a fossil instead of a basic and it helps us not auto lose to Sabrina.the dogshit cards like pokedex and handscope are only there to go to your graveyard and be out of the deck so its all gas as we cycle through it with our chatot that starts for us 80% of the time.anyway, thanks for coming to my Billtalk.
