I think Serperior is fine, but Celebi EX is the one that's too broken, having no ceiling and ramping 50 at a time was a bad call on battle design. And that's not just in terms of battling against it, but in terms of being able to make other Grass Pokemon down the road that can measure up/surpass it as an attacker. Why waste time on a Grass version of Charizard EX when Celebi gets going faster and with less bricking? Even when you don't assemble Serperior, Celebi can still steamroll.

Played a couple more games with Chatot M2, dunno if it’s strictly better than new standard M2 but it’s very fun and definitely viable. I would say the biggest challenge with the deck is bench space, a lot of games are gonna demand a second Mewtwo or your Mew specifically as the last bench slot so it’s a call you will have to make early. All in all it’s just nice to actually play out games that otherwise end early due to bricks, M2 obviously has the reputation of being fat and stalling until the Garde arrives but I think the new meta demands Garde out much earlier.

>>57100688I thought he was bad too in comparison to cards like Blastoise EX but having now played him for a while ive really come around to him.his strengths as a threat are not immediately apparent. first off he is a stage 1 pokemon rather than stage 2 to so he is much more consistently able to evolve and takes up less real estate in your deck, no chance of having 2 out of 3 pokemon from the same evolution line that don't connect (a basic and a stage 2, or stage 1 and 2 with no basic) this makes him a lot more consistent than stake 2 option.the other big plus of being s stage 1 fully evolved pokemon is that he gets ups to 180 hp very fast so he cant get one shot at his vulnerable middle evolution like a lot of 3 pokemon Evo lines and can attack for a massive amount much faster than other option(with misty obviously.)all this in mind gyrdos is actually pretty good and if it was comparable in raw power to stage 2 EX pokemon it would be too strong.
