I would bet that most long-term players have collected nearly everything from MI below the two star rarity. Where’s the value in wonder pick for them? I would only see two star picks around once a week before exploiting god packs, and usually, they featured garbage (full art Zard). A 20% chance at a random 2 star once a week is incredibly worthless, especially when you consider how many 2 star cards there are. I just realized sans a bunch of full arts and a few other rares, I pretty much have the entire mythical island set.
I'd much rather use the daily packs until the next set drops to try and get a pikachu ex or mewtwo ex deck than try to get a handful of cards I'm probably not going to get.
I've also already got the gyarados ex/greninja/druddigon deck, celebi ex/Serperior deck, and the charziard ex/moltres deck so i'm pretty set on top rated metas.

I'm missing pidgeot ex as well, I actually got immersive celebi on my very first pack when the set launched. if you have 2 regular celebis, that's enough for the deck and that's what matters.
the way I feel on full arts if I get them cool, but i'm not going to aim for them since they're so rare. that and I'd end up getting a fifth marshadow or something anyways.

I would honestly say the issue with this is that mew ex can be running the exact same list and is a better revenge killer than Tauros. The trade-off of course being that Tauros is a single prize but it's the same amount of turns to power them both up, and mew ironically does better into both single prize and ex decks.

So how do they fix this meta? It feels like decks that cant attack around druddigon kind of just get dumpstered. Pikachu is an acception because water type is weak to pikachu and zebstrika. Its just annoying to make a new deck, and have it auto lose to gyarados. Luminion is good but in reality what makes hitmonlee and zebstrika great snipers is that they take one energy to use.
