For consistency you can also use Chatot but I hate the dead weight after you use it, it only makes sense when it helps you get to your endgame wincon which this deck does not have. I stopped using most of these cards because I'm an off-meta fiend but they can deliver good results if played correctically. For coin avoiders you can replace Articuno and Misty with Tauros and Giovanni, although I have not tested that since Tauros takes too much commitment. Flips get wins and Articuno was able to deliver. Magmar is no slouch, I might add it to one of my brews even without Blaine it's fun.rating 7/10: funny wins but not consistent.

The reason why Mewtwo/Celebi/Gyarados make people salty is because they are randomly fast ramping decks that have insane damage output. Celebi is luck based and inconsistent, but yeah i dislike it all the same. Atleast electric can get walled really badly, but if Mewtwo gets gard out quick it feels like a legit gameover sometimes.

Yugioh has had multiple cards that every deck wants to run, Yugioh CURRENTLY has multiple generic staples every deck wants to run.Pokémon doesn't have the same resource issue that Yugioh has. Pot of Greed could snowball into more pots into other things into OTKs. In Pokémon, this isn't an issue. You can only play one supporter a turn and this inherently limits Oaks power level. You see this in Yugioh nowadays, too, with the newer pots that limit themselves to a once per turn or some other attached cost. Pokémon also has the prize, or in our case point system, that further limits your ability to make game winning plays in a single turn. A limitation that Yugioh just doesn't have. And this more than anything else affects out two games. In Yugioh, Pot of Greed is an utterly broken card because Yugioh is a broken mess of a card game.
