It especially feels bad when playing against Grass due to Erika. Holy shit, it is so frustrating to play the Marshadow deck against Grass and Erika. It might be the worst feeling in the game. The deck has a really low power level and curve. It's worse than Pikachu in that regard. Like, if I had to compare it, it's an "aggro" or "blitz" deck kinda like Blaine, but instead of being explosive up front, it's explosive while sacrificing points. If Blade is RDW, and Pikachu is "midrange" and the Mewtwo/Celebi archetype is longer game "ramp", then Marshadow is Suicide Black, and it definitely does not feel good to play against the CPUs with type disadvantage. The only time I've ever played it in the event queue, I drew Marshadow with nothing else, no Pokeballs, and the only Pokemon I drew into was Mankey, and I had Old Amber without Aero. And when I've played against this deck (with Mewtwo) it has always felt like it's bad. Sometimes it can feel scary, because if you swing you get hit with 100 damage, but it's like not actually that threatening if you plan around it. And Aero doesn't really do anything either.Fighting needs help. Its best deck is a pile of jank that just works sometimes. I ended up finishing the missions with Golem and it felt much better.
