But since it only needs 2 energies you can only really pull that cheese off turn 3 for it to matter. Past that it has no use. Better for Fire mon who have heavier energy investments. I've found success in adding it to my Heatran x Charizard deck. It's much more likely for Heatran to get a turn 2 attack out than for Torchic to get a turn 3 exodia (Rare candy + cave + flame patch + Blaziken, get real with this combo now...).Plus it just adds more consistency to Heatran getting 2 energies ASAP. Charmeleon doesn't always come up instantly, so having a second condition for getting early game damage is good.
