First for Powkiddy a shit
How accurate is Ayn's shipping dashboard?I'm trying to figure out if it's approximate or if they skipped over my sub-1k Pro Black order.
>>11517415Just email them about your order
on my Steam Deck's desktop mode I tried to charge it and for a couple seconds I got a "discharging" on the status rather than charging. Anyone mind seeing if theirs does the same?Already had to send this thing in for a battery RMA once and now I'm well out of the warranty period
Is the Steam Deck still worth it or is there a better value for power handheld?
>>11517418Ally x is the best handheld x86. But steam deck is still good for value.
>>11517360What are people coping about when china takes our data? I genuinely want to know how this affects me in the slightest
>>11517418On one hand, I'd really like to recommend it. It's emulation capabilites are wonderful and emudeck is an absolute joy to use...On the other, I had to RMA one unit 4 times before Steam just gave me a refund and on my OLED I had the battery die (apparently, a somewhat common issue) and now I'm on >>11517417There are a lot of documented issues that are somewhat common, and for 500 bucks a year long warranty is just not long enough for a hardware with so many potential issues. If you can get a cheap LED model for around 200 bucks it's not a bad gamble, but the 500 OLED, I'd say hold off on that one unless you're good at tinkering and soldering.
Got some games and an iconic game case.
Best horizontal android handheld?
Last days to order before the trade war.
alright, thinking about getting the 40xxh for gaming at home and the a30 for edc, what are your thoughts bros
>>11517413Your Engrish is coming along nicely.
>>11517414Man I just thought I could get like, a $400 repair for the screen and then stop using it as my main phone to keep it in better condition despite never dropping or even scratching the thing, ever. Wish I got photos/footage of as it was dying before going full black.
>>11517441Between those 3? the odin 2 hands down
>>11517454That is weird. Those screens tend to only have either the top or bottom half die when they break.
Me again from last thread >>11508574I decided to stop being retarded and bundled the actual shader files that my setup uses in with the glslp files, so now it should just be as easy as unzipping this whole thing into one folder and loading them from there. No fuss no muss, no matter what system or operating system you're on, as long as you're using glsl shaders in Retroarch. They're just the standard ones that come with every Retroarch install, so if it prompts you to overwrite files you should just be able to skip it, because it means they're all where they need to be already. Hopefully solved this anon's problem >>11509191 sorry for the confusion bro.https://files.catbox.moe/nkmf4q.zipAlso quickly slapped together some versions without the glow, for those who prefer it that way.
>>11517461Bottom died, upon closing and opening the phone again, the entire screen had bled out to every pixel. And I fucking take good care of my shit, which is why I was able to use my previous Galaxy S9 as a backup.
>>11517454wtf is that a webm for ants??
And while I'm at it, shout out to this anon from a few threads ago for the cool Game Gear grid overlay >>11494974It looks pretty slick. Already set it as my default and going to use this one going forward. Thank you, bro.
>>11517465Fuck downloading apps on a Galaxy S9 just to convert video for 4channel's shit webm specifications, that is what you get.
>>11517462I love how #1 looks, but think #2 looks the best. The colour bleed is neat in #3 but can make it look a little too similar to over-filtered modern pixel games like Octopath Traveller.#4 and #5 just look like blurry fucking garbage.
>>11517415Hehe looky what I just got in the mail.
>>11517468Oh whoops, wrong version. Don't want to give anyone the impression that the grid filter is that dark (it is at 100%, but by default it's set at 70%)
>>11517441RP4P for the stick placement alone.
>>11517454I saw a webm of the entirety of Kung Pow that was more legible than this.
Okay, talk me out of buying a Odin 2 Portal...
>>11517473Base or Pro, and roughly what backer ID#?>OneeChanI can't be mad and someone else still using it.
should I reshell an snes controller into a metal shell?
why do we keep using the cucks pictures in OP
>>11517495Base 1771
>>11517472None of them are really supposed to look "the best", it was all just my attempt to get an okay CRT filter with no performance hit on my 40XX and similar budget devices with entry-level hardware and low-res screens. I was only out to make #5 for myself, but went ahead and made a few others when I decided to share it here, to suit different tastes. To that end I feel #2 is actually the most needless, as I'm sure there are already CRT filters that lightweight anyway, but I figured why not? 4 and 5 are blurry because they incorporate a convergence filter for pixel blending. I do like the sharper look of the others, but a slight blur on a small handheld screen isn't that big a deal for the tradeoff, especially when you grew up used to running composite or even RF cables to $80 Chinksonic brand televisions from Rite-aid or whatever. But hey, that's what options are for if it's 2blurry4u
>>11517510I want him to find out and get mad.
>>11517490The sounds of you yelling KINOOOOOOOOOOOO next to your wife while she's sleeping might wake her up
Me browsing this thread: oh shit did I slide into the timeline where iphones and gamesir stopped existing?
>>11517436Great choices and a nice variety. Tell us how you like Sword of Mana. I bought it blind and was surprised it has the same story as Final Fantasy Adventure, a favorite. It bored me then, but I've never given it another shot.
>>11517448Good point. Also New Year is coming, which means big sales and shipping delays.
>>11517569Nta but SoM is so unnecessarily wordy which is what makes its story so forgettable outside of its main plot beats.
>>11517579Yeah, one of the few things I remember is that people talked too much. People talk a ton in Brownie Brown's Magical Starsign, as well.
>>11517490The picture you chose tells me you were sold on it by Russ. That alone should be a deterrent until you find another source.
>>11517595I literally googled "Odin 2 Portal" and picked one of the gamecube colored ones that wasn't a stock image.
>>11517595>not trusting Russ implicitly and completelyWhat went wrong with you guys?
Am I lookin' good or is my setup based and crt-pilled? Probably looks like ass blown up but I swear it's nice on a small oled screen.
>>11517469
Designing a line of sticks for Retroid/Odin devices, any other styles I should include?
>>11517823Maybe mini variants? Bottom right without the inner ring maybe.
>>11517829Mini? These are already roughly the same size as the stock sticks, about 14mm. If anything, I'm planning on a second set that's more high profile. As for bottom right without the inner ring, I tried that actually, then realized I'd basically just remade the stock sticks
>>11517836idk then, flat grippy dualshock 2 style?
>>11517407daily reminder I own the best device for handheld gaming on the planet and no amount of copium can change thatcurrently playan:xenogearsumihara kawasemuramasa
>>11517823The FlyDigi Vader controllers have reeded edges like coins, but with wider peaks and valleys.I'm also very partial to the Xbox Elite sticks that have a kind of micro-knurling. but you'd probably need a 0.2mm nozzle or SLA to get the detail.
>>11517878>currently playanAnd finishing none of them.
