I said pure TM. That means only TM
>>
>>3658597
If we were talking TM as it was when Expedition released, I'd say yes. As it is now, I'd still say probably, but you'd have to rely on stealth and be very selective in what you fight. I don't think it would be fun.
>>
Is there a guide for oddity? I've only ever played classic but going to try oddity now

game feels like it was made to pad out playtime
from subpar map(inb4 there was no map initially) to whole merchant restock/I don't feel like buying anything today so just make do with what you have
I fear my patience will just run out at one point before I finish the game
>>

Speaking of. It's been many years since it was added and I'm curious.

How many here don't use the mini-map?

elemental bolts are just too good

torpedo for melee/psionics, leviator for guns imo

What part of only TM do you not understand?

I to this day use an external flowchart map someone made years and years ago for the map.

Best mt spear build coming through
>>
>>3659856
no
its possibly good on builds that do high single-target damage as a way to do even more damage with one attack (snipe, aimed shot, impale, super slam, etc)
but for that you'd need to have the cost be low, via tranquility or premed

you can break rocks with it by casting implosion then recurrance
>>
>>3659896
Yeah, Recurrence is pretty much for times when your Snipe, crit etc for whatever reason couldn't stick the landing. Then it finishes the job for you for dirt cheap.

Giving up the lemurian engineer suit and the new technomedic exo is too many skill points down the drain for my taste. It was enough to play 3 INT once, never again.

It is.

Any build that relies on Super Steel is a humiliation ritual.

Psi doesn't care that much about infused leathers. Not because they can't use the utility, because they can just delete everyone before it matters.

Don't shit on Tanner. He took war criminals, assassins, bandits, and forged them into the safest, strongest station in the south that everyone wants to cooperate with.
>>
>>3663826
be nice, he has autism
>>
>>3663859
Let's be real, it's the New Biocorp guys who are in danger from the Protectorate. For Ezra it's just an inconvenience, assuming he has greater goals than being retired and managing SGS's firewalls.
>>
>>3663781
Tanner and Gorsky are the only reason SGS exists at all. Vera is a pencil pusher that's trying to sell what other people fought for to the protectorate.
>>
I don't get the story of Omega
game paints them as something comparable to SGS yet they don't have that much in terms of territory or base size
at also seemed like they were there first before tanner and his friends arrived
>>
>>3664423
How much territory does SGS even have? It's not much.
>>
>>3664423
SGS and Omega were kinda just there before Tanner arrived, neither of them was anything special. And most of the important people probably arrived after Tanner.
>>
I wish we could ask Ezra why he decided to split from Kirill and Dr. Slavkovic after sticking together for at least like 100 years.
>>
>>3664451
He pulled too many pranks involving psi beetles and they got sick of his practical jokes after a while.
>>
>>3664458
It's a cool prank though. Was even better when it was a regular psi beetle. Sink or swim is the only proper way to teach.
>>
>>3664423
we dont get to see the interior of omega station
>>
>>3664468
GMS was just their property, wasn't it? The real entrance is not far away. A locked door with a couple of mines outside.
>>
>>3664479
There's also the waterway entrance. Omega station is pretty huge.
Makes me wish for an Omega update where we get a reworked "tutorial" phase with more variety of missions before the game opens up. Maybe even an alternative to Depot A too.
>>
>>3664479
There's also the Omega Pass, so the territory they controlled was at least comparable to SGS. No way to get inside from that entrance either, of course.

If you call not wanting to interact with Six a betrayal then sure. Tanner kept the station together and only following in his footsteps doesn't lead to an exodus of SGS citizens.

the amount of hammer discussion here is funny because no one actually thinks hammers are good weapons, they just like the aesthetic of being a heavily armored melee user.
>>
>>3664732
Players are free to discuss whatever they want.
>>
>>3664732
In theory hammers go much better with heavy armour (not nimblecan) than any of the other weapons, because of Heavyweight or being able to combo Juggernaut + sturdy vest + Super Slam.
In practice they're shit no matter what. All the downsides of a sniper rifle without any of the upsides of any weapon type.
>>
>>3664535
At the end of the day all comes down to the player. Only the player can ensure that SGS gets integrated on reasonably not-shit terms, or that the status quo is maintained, or that the anti-Protectorate movement gains momentum. But even out of these three anti-Protectorate is easily the most finicky to achieve well because you NEED a strong Foundry AND a strong Silver Hand AND a strong Free Drones AND a strong Grim Jetters. So in essence, if you want a successful resistance it is essential that Gorsky leaves SGS so you can have an ally in the Core.
>>
>>3664817
Funny how to be truly anti-protectorate, you need to unite all the stations to protectorate yourselves.
>>
>>3664827
That isn't really the case. You are not repeating what Melek did, there's no unified army you conquer the South with. What you do is in a way much worse, because in order to keep the Protectorate out you have to:
>sacrifice Rail Crossing
>plunge Core City into another civil war
>destroy safe waterborne transport in the region
And toss in starting a gang war in Junkyard (later double-crossing your ally) for the best outcome. It's dirty business, classic omelette and eggs, so the question comes up if if's really worth it. Nevertheless doing literally anything else makes the long-term victory of Protectorate a foregone conclusion.

You already want to use firearm pistols in close range for the 40% evasion reduction, so if you're playing with versatility there's no reason not to go for Gun-Fu.
If you aren't, don't bother to put points in melee just for that. It's not worth it and a complete meme in that case.

Right, right. But does that have a guaranteed drop? There will be much less lunatics on normal.
That said, it's kind of a waste to have will that high and not make full use of it. Not sure I like this level of extreme lore minmaxing.
>>
>>3666625
Not sure if there are guaranteed drops, but eventually you should be able to find at least a poor quality one. And considering the amount of psionics near the mainframe even the lowest quality is enough.
>That said, it's kind of a waste to have will that high and not make full use of it.
I'm not that anon who wrote those numbers, but the very high checks are extremely rare and you could prep for it. Getting to at least 10 Will is always a good choice since it gets you LoC, going for more will help you scale your wizardry powers a bit higher.
That said I wouldn't try to get ALL the secrets on a single run. First off because you can't anyway due to faction content, but secondly because you'll have to stretch yourself thin and when you have little room for creativity in your build it gets boring.

Why is it that half of the time vanishing powder grenades simply don't work? Like it won't even put me in stealth.

You need to have enough action points left over after paying the AP cost of the grenade itself to use the stealth action. It just activates that action instead of having it baked in.

You need to consider the AP to enter stealth too.

After getting frustrated with the Sonocaster when trying to break rocks with 0 skill, I realized that the game bugs out if you start an attack with something you're good with (melee in my case) and then quickly swap into the Sonocaster before the attack animation completes. Not only you get the 95% to hit instead of 70%, but its damage scales high enough to oneshot (instead of merely two-shot) rocks.

Praetorian is thematically a tin can faction
Praetorian questline is indeed the hardest, but it's also a good test on how good and sturdy your tank buildd is
Coretech is the overall easiest faction, anybody can do it, not just tanks in specific.
Also everything is easy for psiggers, this is a moot point
>>
>>3668054
shit points in general
praetorian is the worst choice for tincans, regardless of thematic intention; the first quest throws a bilocating TC boss at you, 2nd quest throws epistol/w2c homos at you, 3rd quest is fine, admittedly, but its a lot harder than the coretech one where a tank can just camp the entrance and wipe the waves easily (which is relatively hard for psiggers because you cant just enter combat first and some of them come in stealthed)
each coretech quest is relatively very easy for tincans
>>
>>3668057
>the first quest throws a bilocating TC boss at you
That's the second one, first one is Al pacino, he is a strong TCer but can still get warcrime'd regardless.
>2nd quest throws epistol/w2c homos at you
That's the first one, mystery niggas can still be tanked with morphine and sturdy enough HP, bridge section can be trivialized
>but its a lot harder than the coretech one where a tank can just camp the entrance and wipe the waves easily
That's not just tanks in specific, but easy quest as a whole, you can easily corner peek around some boxes and in the end of the day you can also warcrime the entrance and none of them survive past 5 tiles away from the entrance. Like I said, moot point.
>each coretech quest is relatively very easy for tincans

hmm. Good question, I didn't think about that. I'll have like 8-9 str since tin-can so maybe an assault rifle?
>>
>>3668117
then yeah, you should be fine
it'll be a little hard to juggle that many ability points, and your psi powers wont be very strong, but MT goes well with snipers
thermD + aimed shot, boom a whole group
cryostasis + aimed shot, ez kill a strong nigger like magnar or carnifex
pyrokinesis + pyromania = possibly light up your enemies to trigger ambush or at least get rid of any darkness penalty
pyrokinesis/cryo-orb/plasma beam for AoEs against multiple weaker foes

AR for when you realize your build kinda sucks, kek
nah you'll be alright
>>

>>

snipe and ambush are great feats

theres just hardly any reason to use some of the cold options
>cryo gas
doesnt stack with ground fire whereas toxic gas does
>hypothermia
so much focus on a single enemy with repeated attacks is simply never worth the cost
if there was a "cone of cold" spell like pryokinestic stream it would be useful
>cryo pistol
has some niche uses, but is widely considered the weakest chempistol

I just wish there were more modals like Emission. Like, if Psychostatic Electricity gave you the modal to apply it to your electro pistol at an extra psi cost, or Pyromaniac to your incendiary pistol, Induction to your cryo gas grenades, you get the drill.

Heh, yeah. But you know, only working with the same damage type.
>>
>>3668706
years ago, some guy had an idea for psi emitters on melee weapons keyed to a particular psionic school
theyd use psi points instead of battery power to enhance your melee strikes

>mt fire: adds heat damage to your strikes
>mt cold: cold damage
I forget all his ideas though; I think the tm one could refund ap on a missed strike
>>

That could be fun too. Something like quality determines the cost and skill the damage?

the three guys in blast suits down in the sewers?

It's easiest with a maxed-out reduction build, but it's doable without. It's tricky, because the time slicer is unavoidable and your armor won't do much, so you want to get her first. You can be basically immune to the epistolfag with full supersteel armor. The hammerfag has EW and a firecracker cap, so you can't rely on your armor to tank him until those wear off.

Focus fire the TM fag first. Sprint in, net (barbed nets would be best) or root if you have pk spells, then pop adrenaline or coke and do as much damage as quickly as you can. Then pop morphine and turn on your low/low efficient shield. The epistol guy will drain your shield with his attacks, but theres not much we can do about that and it doesnt help that much anyway against the hammer. Do your best to tank the hammerfag. Your morphine should wear off around when the firecracker and EW debuffs end, so you can rely on your armor to tank him for a while until he gets EW again.

A good tichrome spiked hammer with a blasting cap and leper poison. Quake with CACs. EW, pummel, and super slam with the tichrome hammer, while using Quake for normal attacks. Use focus stim and aegis before the fight starts. If you use a shaded visor helmet you can try to flashbang your own feet to win a turn or two without them banging on you if necessary, but I wouldnt count on it working since they're max level. You can't rely on nailbombs to trigger tfb since they're basically immune due to their blast suits, and I wouldnt count on serrated armor to inflict a bleed, so you'll be doing this without tfb most likely.
>>
>>3669005
Small piece of advice: load a save from before you entered their room if you can't beat them now, i fucked myself over by leaving to do the DLCs and came back later to an empty room, though i doubt i could stall the fight enough to get 3 separate expose weakness on my pk monk

>>3669018
If you trap one of them in bear traps you can get lucky in finishing em off while the others are out of range.

>>

sea wyrm gives excellent melee protection and the best acid protection (up to immunity), while activating juggernaut and heavy metal

ancient rat is maybe the best armor vs psiggers, because you can get pretty good heat and cold resist at the same time, as well as decent mech protection

bison can give you cold immunity and bonus hp

tacvests are basically only good against non-sniper bullets, which are already not a huge threat due to energy shields
pretty much the only people that use tacvests past the midgame are psiggers who want the psi boosts
theres also psicrab which gives you really good electricity protection while also allowing good heat protection at the same time; useful in spicy shores

I would say its not worth it, no
all you're really getting with your that feat on your build is some extra range on EK, which wont be a damage spell so much as a disable; the feat is mainly for people who are doing an electrokinesis build in particular
psychostatic electricity is worth it; more crit chance is good, but that doesnt require will
if youre gonna do a tesla build, I suggest using an electropistol; much more synergistic
id say force user is worth getting 7 will for if you're not putting points in strength, but you want to use lightning spells, not force
if youre going to put points into will for psionic skills, then you should absolutely max the relevant skill, regardless

if you want to do a shotty with pk, its always smart to take 30 for EK and grounding, and 40 or 45 for imprint, and make sure to have premeditation

ok here's some math for the critical damage bonus on a 115% normal knife with all 3 perks and 10 spec points thrown around(level 26), the number inside { } is what you get if target has full health, ripper multiplier assumes 50% health, [ ] is the critical power
5 CP 5 ripper
{115+50+[(15+50)*1.5]}*1.75={262.5}*1.75=459.375
5 cheap shots 5 CP
{115+50+25+[(15+50+25)*1.5]}*1.5={325}*1.5=487.5
5 cheap shots 5 ripper
{115+50+25+[(15+50+25)*1]}*1.75={280}*1.75=490
the 1st one seems to be weakest as it will grow the least from ripper on top of having the weakest { } base, and have to crunch more to get results of going 5 cheap shots and 5 in another or altenating both as you level up
please rip into me if i'm wrong in some step

HP is retroactive so it doesn't matter when you take it. The only choice is whether you want more hp or more damage early on. Or if you need it to qualify for feats.
>>
>>3670975
Pretty much as this anon said >>3670986
However things like hammers get more DPS in with a feat (super slam) and can boost other feats like conditioning for more DR.
It also helps with certain stun saves and high enough can make poison only last one turn. Mostly though you'll want to focus on damage or dump Con since at higher difficulties enemy damage gets too juiced up to tank usually or they're too many.
>Unless your a super tank than psiggers are usually your only threat
>>
>>3671025
Going to 7 for juggernaut can be worth it even on dominating. It can nearly double your hp compared to 3 con. 4 stat points and a feat is a big investment, but nearly double hp is big too.

Sure only thing too to mention with that is depending upon their build, their armor penalty can be l lowered with nimble and it will still activate but other feats like heavy metal won't. So they should read the description on feats carefully.

All Con boosting items also effects Jugg so that makes it better. Other gear as well can give quite some health like full Pig leather or bison but will never get enough armor penalty too activate it. So if they want to use leather gear to prob not take it :/

Fusion cannon, m60 and stunner are all really good and worth getting as soon as possible if your build can utilise them.

Fun fact, on the hardest difficulty that quest is among the mos difficult in the game. But dealing with psi beetles is a hell of a spike for new players even on lower difficulties. Next one will be Depot A.

All the quests leading up to and including depot A are basically tutorials. You likely dont have means to brute force your way through encounters using your meme metagamed build you found on the internet, so the game wants you to explore other options. Like learning that non-humanoids cant open doors, combat utilities are very strong, traps exist, certain gear can trivialise specific enemies etc.
Truly a rare example of good game design, its hard to imagine a s*rb came up with it.

I want evasive enemies to have escape artist so you cant just trivialise them for the cost of 15 ap and 30 points in PK.

Isn't it a bit much to lower your total HP, heal less from medicine, and all the stuff you sell only being sold for half its actual value for higher difficulties? Why not just simply keep it as having the enemies being tougher, smarter, and there being more of them?
>>
>>3671918
I always play on Hard because it bugs me that my character's max HP is calculated differently from other humans on Normal. Then I notice that NPCs don't suffer from the medicine nerf and get annoyed.
>>
>>3671918
Its a bandaid. Money stops being an issue after the GMS quest even on dominating, and you dont even need to loot and sell all the junk you find unless you plan on using a full set of supersteel armor with extra plates or something.
Difficulty wise the HP and healing stuff does screw over tank builds more than anything else, without making the overall game harder I'd say. You can still make a proper tank, its just going to come online later because you need high quality metal armor for the % resist. Meanwhile a glass cannon can just blast things, sure you'd have to reload every now and then but who cares, its not a roguelike.
>>
>>3671929
Is being a 3 conlet really the best option for hard and dominating difficulty? I just made a psi build with 7 con and the psycho feat since in previous playthroughs I've always done the usual 3 con tranq build since I usually play on normal until now.
>>
>>3671918
The HP and health reduction actually isn't that bad since it's kinda balances each other out. Hard has the same restrictions.
Generally too by the end you'll have gear or feats that boosts your HP into the 400/500 range.
Mercantile should honestly be buffed in infusion to also let you sell more stuff and it not be a feat.
>>
>>3671926
do you also notice that their AI is retarded and they cant have the same gear as you?
>>
>>3671934
I suppose when you health is that high, each enemy are hitting for half of it in a single shot. Better to spend that hypo AP on breaking line-of-sight or giving up and crying.
>>
>>3671933
Con isn't that good for certain builds so it's usually dumped. However it's still good for survival instincts or a hammerfags.
LMG and Mini gun guys also benefit hammer gunners high to heal off of. Especially so if you get the abomination that and spec you'll always be able to fully heal after every fight usually without using a hypo
>>
>>3671933
I like tin cans even on dominating because I'm allergic to reloads (and bear traps), as I said it just comes online later. I think the one playstyle that truly gets cucked by dom is when you use a sturdy tac vest without really investing in defensive feats, hoping it would be good enough to survive a turn or two. Between boss HP buffs, player HP/healing nerfs and massive buffs to enemy skills (and thus damage), the difference between a 9 con SI glass cannon with 30% hp and a 5 con tac vest virgin at full health is literally zero, you'll die just as fast and the glass cannon can at least clear the screen in one turn.
>>
>>3671945
>>3671940
Fuck, maybe I should restart my wizard and shotgun build then, the shotty only has 5 con but the 2 points can go into having 6 STR and an extra perception point. At least I'm not too far into them but still annoying.

Hammers are a meme. They encourage raising CON as a melee build and don't benefit from Fancy Footwork. If you equip metal armor you get to taste multiple rounds of bullets without being able to attack back as you slowly inch closer to the enemies. If you equip a stealth suit you're just a shitty assassin compared to the knife build, except for the sole advantage that you can comfortably carry 100+ bear traps in your inventory whereas the knife guy is probably only packing 10 or so bear traps.

>>
>>3673000
Going faster and/or carrying more loot on the jet is more than enough for me. They're also guaranteed and free for the taking, unlike good engines in the stores. And they're conveniently small+medium, just right for the Aegis jet.
>>
>>3673001
How early do you usually do this quest? I have basically nothing on the waters left to explore so the upgrade would come a bit too late now.
>>
>>3673004
Usually if I'm confident that I can deal with the area I go for it before the expedition with the jet you can buy from Tappy.
If not, I go there roughly about midway through the expedition or not at all.
>>
>>3673000
>If only there was a better incentive to upgrade your jet. Jet races, naumachia, anything.
Yeah the game is really lacking in jet ski content outside the expedition, there's literally no reason to ever buy any of the jet skis at Ray's when you can get the Aegis for free which is just as good as the quality skis at Ray's. Especially with how the only way you'd even be able to have the charons to afford them is either by cheating to constantly refresh the merchants so you can sell all your hoarded loot at once or having to do the DLC to sell the reef glider and acorn and by then you pretty much have no reason to use a jet ski anymore.
>>
>>3673013
>only way to get 10k charons is by cheating

I have almost 10k by the time I finish depot A on Hard.
>>
>>3673007
Sounds like a lot of pain for something not really needed, but maybe I'll try it next time.

So I don't think I get the story of this facility at all. They made D5 warheads for Ceto. They had a mutagen leak incident, but it was minor and was not what turned everyone into mutants? But it had nothing to do with the Junkyard incident either? These were totally separate incidents? Which Hollow Earth elevator broke down when? What even did they bring here from Hollow Earth, the spiders? I don't got anything.
>>
>>3673017
Bullshit, there's no way you can find that many loot especially with how you only get half its actual value without either using that cheat engine or to keep your PC on for hours waiting for the merchants to refresh.

>>3673026
>you only get half its actual value
Even on DOM you can get that rich just as fast if your build isn't eating away everything you make.
While it's true that you get less money for the same amount of loot, you need to consider that the merchants don't have less money and one or two good items are enough to clean them of all the charons they own anyway.
Being poor is a (player and character) skill issue. Projecting about using cheats only exposes you for the clown you are.
>>
>>3673030
>>3673029
Care to enlighten us then how you get rich so fast in the tutorial section of the game?
>>
I'm not that anon, but on hard, in my current play-trough I end up depot a with around 4k charons, and I had no mercantile.
I imagine with mercantile, disassemble, or just actually bothering with repairing shit before selling (loot everything, keep the 2 best guns, recycle the rest into repair kits, repair the guns fully) you could easily end up with 10k if you're diligent with coming back to sell shit whenver you're overencumbered.
>>
>>3673033
I dont play with merc
I usually have about 3k when I finish depot A
between quest rewards, pickpocket, open lock, hacking, and just loot you get from fights or thats otherwise lying around
theres plenty of money/loot in places the average player might not check, like that one room in the embassy you get through via the vents, theres a couple hundred charons just sitting there in a locker or something
if you have crafting skills, you can take components you find and make full items to sell for even more value
however, I dont wait around to sell all the loot before getting the drill parts, like all the crap you get from the gang fight
I usually just make some piles and sell it off throughout the midgame
>>
>>3673030
Not that anon, but you can get under 2k charons once you get everyone in Junkyard and Blaine, but I don't think it's realistic to expect that you'll be clearing Catherine every time. How many hours are you going to spend before finishing Depo A?
>>
>>3673038
Being able to do it and actually doing it are very different things.
I agree tho, it's better to move on and unlock the rest of the map ASAP usually.

>>3673055
its possible
but you need to have the patience to do multiple merchant runs before finishing depot A

but getting 10k by the time you can buy jets from ray is ez; you should have that much by then without doing anything unusual
>>
>>3673058
By then I'd probably already have explored all the waterways with the junk jet bought in Hathor and I prefer using the money to set up my house basement. I always join Aegis in the DLC and get their jet ski for free after recusing the professor which is better than the ones at Ray's you'd need around 10k to buy since it can hold 2 engines and batteries.
>>
>>3673063
>I always join Aegis in the DLC and get their jet ski for free
You get their jet ski for free as pirate too.
>>
>>3673063
>which is better than the ones at Ray's
nah
each of the jets has different slots and sizes, and the aegis jet isnt the best at anything
>>
>>3673064
Why would I want to join those zoners and screw over the economy in South Underrail, my character's home?
>>
>>3673070
Because the Rig quest is pretty cool.
>>
>>3673070
because the eels are collaborating with the protectorate to establish more "stability" (tyranny)
a bit of piracy is a small price to pay for freedom
>>
>>3673072
>because the eels are collaborating with the protectorate
They're collaborating with SGS, actually..
>>
>>3673075
no, see, you dont know
you havent played the pirates questline yet
>>
>>3673072
>a bit of piracy is a small price to pay for freedom
>be a northerner's bitch while looting your own people = freedom
At last I truly see.
May as well join the Protectorate if you think that way, tho.
>>
>>3673077
you can take out the sonar without joining either black sea faction, and I *think* as long as you do and dont kill too many pirates, the ending slides recognize it

but I dont want to pass up all that oddity exp and the jet feats on most runs
I did it once though
>>
>>3673078
>you can take out the sonar without joining either black sea faction
But why would you do that? It only benefits pirates.
For your troubles you get to pay extra for ferry transport and get more annoying encounters that put you in combat while on the jet ski.
At least if you join the pirates you have some personal benefits. Still, I don't think that surrendering the waterways (and all waterway facing stations/outposts) to pirates is "freedom".
>>
>>3673080
I already said why to do it, idiot
if youre gonna argue with me, dont ignore what I say
>>
>>3673072
Well then it'll be civil war between SGS eels at Junkyard and the traitors at the Rig, and with the player on the SGS side I think we all know which side will end up winning.
>>
This Orange Box puzzle is filtering me.
>>
>>3673084
wtf are you talking about
>>
Can someone tell me without spoiling too much how much lockpicking and hacking skill i need in order to not miss any possible in game lore dumps
>>
>>3673092
In Base game and Expedition i mean. I only bought heavy duty for the weapons
>>
>>3673087
Just go to your game files and replace the phone sounds with generic ingame sound effects. Now instead of tones you get distinct sounds like plasma gun firing, grenade exploding, levelup sound etc.
>>
>>3673092
>lockpicking/hacking
>lore
Only hacking is relevant unless I'm missing something. 130 effective (no haxxor allowed) would be the max needed for it.
>>
>>3673092
130 is about the highest that they get
there are a few things that can give you a bonus
>>
How come you can't use biolocation on yourself to create a clone that goes after any hostile as a way to fight against non human creatures?
>>
Tchortist Noble Robe or PSI Tact Vest?
>>
>>3673126
I use the noble robe until I can craft a good vest.
>>
>>3673126
robe if youre a TC main
>>
>>3673106
The clone is in their head, not yours. Bilocating yourself would be like trying to get your imaginary friend to beat someone up.
>>
Is there a way to de-aggro enemies on other screens? The goliaths outside of the hanging rat got too close to the entrance and now i can't leave.
>>
>>3673161
it's over
>>
>>3673161
Kill them?
>>
>>3673168
It's a bit hard when it's 5 of them and i'm guaranteed to go last on the first round.
>>3673167
Well shit.
>>
Are you locked out of finishing the Oligarchs quest chain if you do Phreaks quest chain?
>>
>>3673175
no
>>
>>3673175
No its the other way around, if you get too far into one of the Oligarch quests you can't do Phreak's quests.
>>
>>3673177
>>3673178
That's weird, i'm not getting the last quest from Knight after doing Phreaks quests and doing all the other Praetorian quests.
>>
>>3673183
because youre not an accomplished gladiator
>>
>>3673185
Oh right, I forgot about that requirement.

I was doing an "elementalist" run, so there's no fucking way i'm tanking my way out of there, i'm probably just going to use cheat engine for the sake of not loosing hours of progress.

It's prime mayhem. But only situationally useful, and it did suffer from the LoC nerf.
>>
>>3673939
That's how I did my first expedition run, it was before the psy nerf as well
Just hit them with the crazy bomb and watch them tear each other apart just like their ultimate fate now that I think about it
>>
>>3673939
>LoC nerf.
What was the nerf?
>>
>>3673948
>1.1.2.0 - AoE radius changed to 2 (down from 3)
>>
>>3673948
Crippled radius.
>>
>>3673951
>>3673952
That's some bullshit
Isn't the point of loc to give some AoE to mind control spells?
with a radius of 2 you will barely get more than 1 guy.
>>
>>3673953
You can still hit a decent group if you catch them at a chokepoint. And yeah, it was part of the whole psi "rework" and loc nerf wasnt the worst part of it so nobody cared.
>>
>>3673955
I still don't get why he shat on solo psi so hard but left the "just pick 70 points of temporal for the two most powerful abilities in the game for every single build" un-nerfed.
>>
>>3673960
Contraction did get a slight nerf, but you cant really nerf TM without just remaking the whole thing. The whole point of TM is utility (as opposed to direct damage or CC from other schools) so naturally builds that dont specialise in psi would take it and benefit from it since HP penalty is not a big deal, especially on dominating. And if you do somehow nerf TM to the point of it not being useful for most characters, it would be totally worthless for psi builds since they actually care about psi slots and psi points and would not want to invest in subpar psi abilities.
>>
Styg has some personal hate boner for psi now, nothing else in the game got nerfed as hard and of course he never even nerfed other OP shit like traps and grenades. With LMGs being a thing now he's just laughing in our faces that he truly doesn't care about balance and just hates us pure psi users.
>>
>>3673947
To be fair they don't go insane if you just leave them be. But cleaning that mess up is somewhat of a moral obligation.
>>
>>3673978
They're already insane, they attack and murder any non-savage they see and they are trying to turn themselves into snake people.
>>
>>3673906
Do you even get xp when enraged enemies kill each other?
>>
>>3673997
Anon is talking about hwat happens if you break the black rock
>>
>>3673999
Yeah I know they all kill each other, I destroy the shadowlith on every playthrough. Like Six said it was already too late to save them from the mindrape but at least it won't turn any future civilization in the black sea crazy.
>>
