Yeah I would say it's good. Not great, but good. Doesn't hold up well in the long run IMO, lategame is a dumb slog. But it's fun before that.

It's not great, but it's also the only show in town unless you go back to the original mountain blade. You either mod it and learn to put up with the flaws and shortcomings or you just don't play it.

The game isn't really any substantially different from how it was 4-5 years ago. The devs just sit on their ass and do nothing other than fix a nondescript bug every month and break all mods. The best you can do is play the ASOIAF mod or fuck around in native fighting, any other total conversion mods seem years off, or never coming since it seems a lot of them lost steam and just haven't been active.
