Dooby will be an interesting case study for an Ex-HoloEn. The Ex-Nijis seem to have done well for themselves because their fans actually followed them and supported them(Not discounting the drama that happened, that's a different discussion). Their fans and themselves shifted very well into the indie scene. The questions are: Can and will HoloEn fans do the same? Does Dooby have the same backing and support as the Ex-Nijis did? And does she have the drive to make content and stream?

For example, male fans: the ex-Nijisanji talents were never unicorn-friendly. Meanwhile, every time a Hololive member so much as breathes in a male's direction, it causes outrage among the fans. Another difference is brand loyalty. The ex-Nijisanji fanbase hated—and still hates—Nijisanji while loving their chuubas. They love the talents, not the company or brand. I can't really say the same for the Hololive EN fanbase. I could be wrong though. Only time will tell if I'm right or not.
