That wasn't how I was expecting the last stream to go, I was laughing with tears and smiling so much during it. That's why I love Ame's streams the most and why stuck with her through this entire journey. It's painful after the end but I think I can sleep tonight with a smile if I look at it that way. And we'll see what the future brings us.

I think what's happened is that cover is going down a road that ame no longer wants to, the momentum is too great for cover to change course or make special exceptions to accommodate ame specifically and this affiliate graduation is the best possible solution,- ame is allowed to walk her own path but the possibility of returning, temporarily or permanently, remains open. I'd say a deal like that is only possible if you have a good working relationship, if she hated cover she'd want a clean break and if cover didn't want her back they'd insist upon it.

My hope is that at the end of this Ame has reached the top of the Maslow hierachy of needs, she now knows that to achieve her own true hapiness (self-actualization) she must find out who she really is and what she truly want out of life.She needs that self-affirmation that hololive is truly where she want to be at the end of all this through her own choice, not because of her base desire to survive, and I can respect that.To willingly choose hololive rather than needing it are two seperate things which is what my personal headcannon says to me Ame is trying to figure out.Sorry for the blog post, just want to put my feelings somewhere so I can rest.
