If something similar to that had happened an ID4 would be today a little over 1 year old just like Advent is and I have a hard time trying to understand why financially they didn't do it when they debuted another homoEN gen that's obviously not doing that well either save from a few non-repeatable edge cases as we've seen with the clown in early 2023. Either something went wrong during the auditions (when did I hear that before?), Cover just didn't like any of the candidates for some reason (I also remember hearing this at some point) or something internally happened that reduced the budget of the ID branch to the point they couldn't and still can't debut a new gen even tho they now have open auditions like all the other branches.
