The futility with trying to give advice is that the people receptive to it already understand it, and those that need it never listen because they always think they know better. There are people that have been here for years with an average of 1 ccv every stream and are only technically vtubers because they go live. It's frustrating but also impossible to try and help them or convince them to do something different. They'll also always have excuses for why other people naturally do better and better.The 1 ccv streamers are a rare extreme but the same goes for those permanently stuck in low 2view hell where most of their viewers are obligatory views for views.

I do feel like streaming is kind of pointless, or, in a way, a meme, as long as literally every single one of your viewers are either your friends you asked to watch you directly or other vtubers hoping you'll reciprocate the favor. You aren't really an entertainer, it's slightly more than streaming on discord. A good way to get started, but it also leads to putting yourself into a box and I'm honestly still not sure how does one breaks out of that besides obnoxious self-advertisement or lucky viral moments.
