Think of it like this, you know how in cartoons where they cycle through the daily routine of a person? It starts with a shot of them slouching out of bed, then them in front of the mirror brushing their teeth, a shot at the breakfast table, etc. All without much flourish, but in the case of the cartoon, that's intended to showcase the nonentity of it. That doesn't work incredibly well with written prose, so I would think about how you can add a little more color to the actions and thoughts your characters are having. Since this is a shipfic you had the desire to make, I won't really touch on the worldbuilding and such, since it's not super necessary for what your goals might be. I will say that the idea of individuals who have longer lifespans than the rest of the world and their own journey to find their place in it is always one that intrigued me. There's a lot of neat things you do with it. I can't really speak to the character depictions since I'm not familiar, but to someone in the dark the kinks kinda some outta nowhere. Maybe a little more buildup would help it feel more natural. I liked the background stories, and it might be neat if you incorporate their unique abilities more into your story.
