Promise never suppressed the shippergirl fandom, so you saw it flourish in relative obscurity for years, but obviously, Myth set the pace for years, and they did their absolute best to squash it for years. Takamori? Officially killed. Gurame? Same thing, with Ame going out of her way to squash it multiple times because she was getting insecure over her position relative to Gura. (Sidenote, but I wouldn't even be surprised if this is part of her reason for leaving her position as an active streamer in Hololive: This, combined with her whole "LOOK AT MY EMMY" thing, make it feel like she has a massive insecurity about being perceived as anything other than "the protagonist of the story," if that makes sense?) Ina generally being too passive to ever invest in a ship.
Then Advent comes and Nerissa specifically, and it's just opening the floodgates. The girl panders. HARD. That's not really true, maybe not the pairings you listed specifically, but quite a few of the girls were into it and leaned into it. On stream anyway, but not on twitter. As you pointed out a lot of them don't really watch streams so a ot of it flew past them.
