Video games were marketed almost exclusively to boys up until fairly recently so you'll still find tons of women who are either not into games at all or they technically count as gamers statistically because they play candy crush on their phone but then they don't actually play any proper games for real. But if you look only at actual female gamers then there's no way something as mainstream and with as broad an appeal as Skyrim is male coded.
