how do we save twitch vtubers and indies?
really why do they still choose to stay what with all the recent yabbenings and sponsorship exterminations.
compare them to doob's numbers for example

HOLY NUMBERS
MYTHIC ON TOP
>>
>>88481133
these honestly are low numbers across the board desu
raids run out?
>>
>>88481766
they forgot to pay the bot farms just like the liggers
>>
>>88481344
have any Holos shown analytics since taiwan thing?
>>
>>88482426
no but you can sort of estimate it using youtube music apparently
>>
>>88482534
Music metrics are very different from stream metrics. Mori has a huge music audience but if you only looked at her stream analytics you'd think she was a small fry compared to other Holos when it's the opposite.

My oshi neuro can exist in youtube due to tech reasons
>>
>>88482927
cant?
is it cause of the chat being harder to parse from?
i know twitch chat is just irc underneath
>>
>>88481133
A year ago or two you wouldn't have even compared holoEN to them, now what happened?
>>
>>88481133
>really why do they still choose to stay what with all the recent yabbenings and sponsorship exterminations.
That's how bad YouTube is if you're an indie and trying to grow.
>>
I don't know but I only want to save the JP ones, especially the hags with comfy streams.
>>
>>88482986
>cant?
yes
>is it cause of the chat being harder to parse from?
It has been like a year since vedal give the reason why neuro cant work on youtube, i dont remember the details but right now, probably something to do with his spaghetti code
>>
>>88481344
the creator of Vtubing also co-created twitch (twice), holds 10% of their equity, and is the sole creator of Bitcoin, to the point where he has money to collect on a programming bounty from the Federal Reserve, and 1% of every part of this God blessed industry including the most popular games being played. Meaning he must have big plans for twitch and these people must already be working together to build something even greater.
>>
>>88481133
It's crazy how much the owner of Mythic talent mogs all English vtubers. EN vtubers really are still a niche in the grand scheme of things aren't they?

>>88483053
it's honestly still an unfair comparison
even indies are bigger on YT
>>
>>88483835
but can he get vince on his roster in the present era before Vshojo does?
>>
>>88482746
i don't think they're that different. it's mostly hololive fans who are listening to hololive music.
>>
>>88481133
>>88484092
How bored are you, anon?
>>
>>88484010
The real unfair comparison is the lone island of HoloEN increasingly surrounded by the corpses of small corpos and NijiEN
vs a burgeoning ecosystem that keeps eating up mindshare as the recent catalog threads have shown.
>>
>>88483386
he can theres just no point to it, it would just be the same people watching. i mean he restreams to bilibili of all places and briefly considered making neuro read their chat before realizing thatd be a big mistake with all the suicide accounts that would try and troll with taiwan and stuff
>>
>>88484010
why do yts count by peak ccv rather than average ccv, indies always go by average cause its more accurate
>>
>>88483786
clearly you have evidence of these, right?
>>
>>88485268
because numbermonkeys don't actually care about channel health, just their absurd tribal wars.
Hence using an image of Dooby's second stream 9 minutes in after a crash.
>>
>>88481133
Because it's easier to get views and subs in Twitch despite the platform doing its best to get all vtubers out of it
>>
>>88484010
Whats with that shitty stream title?
>>
>>88483835
Mythic talent is essentially an email list for sorting out sponsors, theyre not like a vshojo thing or other streamer groups. Vedal and Filian are on mythic but they arent like, co workers or anything. And theres many other random 3views flesh and vtuber alike.
>>
>>88485427
Because Dooby's been stress testing her setup for the past few days, as it crashes often and still has a lot of bugs. That day it crashed 4 times
before finally stabilizing.
>>
>>88484682
>burgeoning ecosystem
twitch is a corp on top (vshojo) and one or two indies with similar stats
all the rest of the indies are 2-3 view and don't even reach out to anyone else. way more lone islands among way more dead corpses

because indies would rather work under shariah law than work under youtube's algorithm
>>
>>88485646
Numberfriend it's not 2022 anymore, at least observe posts like https://archive.palanq.win/vt/thread/86854246/#86858298 to get an idea of what's happening
There are around 40-50+ EN Twitch indie 4views out there as of now, however specific that is
>>
>>88486168
again, most of those are lone islands, and there are tens of thousands of corpses below them.
it's a stretch to call them a box let alone an ecosystem
desu idk why indie "tribalism" even exists if the whole point is that they're on their own
>>
>>88481133
>how do we save twitch vtubers and indies?
But first, Twitch needs to be saved.
I've seen ridiculous posts saying that Twitch's numbers are worth many times more than Youtube's in the last two years.
For example, >88481344
>>
>>88486685
Many indie streamers belong to some kind of Twitch circle, even if they do not belong to a company.
>>
>>88486944
I guess, but wouldn't a supposed "fair comparison" compare those individual circles to corp boxes instead of every twitch circle to have ever existed being counted as one whole?
>>
>>88481133
>we
>>
why are SEApony numberfags making way more bait about indies as of recent? is it the double whammy of dooby and aqua?
>>
>>88486168
>not even a fucking 5 view
Dare I say beyond fucking grim?
>>
>>88492322
ironic considering the nonstop catalog bait for months, but you cry foul when the shoe is on the other foot?
very telling how you bring those two up too, so thanks for the self report
>>
>>88493024
sounds like he hit the nail on the head.
Don't worry, sister. I'm sure there won't be THAT many graduations...
>>
>>88481344
You can add another 0 or two depending on the region.
>>
>>88493260
>admitting to spamming bait and being a tribalfag
again, thanks for the self rep
>>
>>88485751
Lol
>>
>>88481133
They need to work together.
>>
Shondo needs to move to Youtube already so I can watch her
>>
>>88485188
Isn't that what filters are for?
>>
>>88483386
>>88485188
The reason Vedal gave is that youtube limits how much you can request info from it and Neuro would hit that limit reading chat extremely quickly.
He could restream to youtube and just skip any chat interaction.
>>
>>88485268
Late reply but average is a bad metric, because it generally rewards longer streams. The usual trend for a stream is it keeps climbing until it reaches a ceiling and then it stays there for a very long time. So max CCV, except for raids, is a better indicator of a stream's audience.

A 1 hour 12k max stream could have less average CCV than a 6 hour 6k max stream. That doesn't seem right.
