What a lot of the anons here don't seem to understand is that trust is massive when it comes to indies. You don't need as much trust necessarily when your streamer is corpo because they have contracts holding them to certain behaviors or frequencies or actions (or lack thereof). The moment you go indie it matters a lot that you can take what you streamer says and that they'll mean it every time (or at least the vast majority) and that even if it turns out to be difficult they'll do their very best to take every reasonable effort to make true on their word. You could forgive the "I'll be here forever" stuff during the corpo days because corpo abuse was probably a thing, but when you're trying to decide if you can truly commit to her after being an indie and she immediately starts not making good on promises she is not forced to make and is not obligated to uphold that looks grim
