I'm sorry but this just isn't going to fly with me. This post is written in a way that implies a course of action and finality. If she wasn't 100% set on it she should have queried or asked her audience first. You cannot post something like this, walk it back within 24 hours without warning, and just delete the original. Am I supposed to believe her when she promises me schedules? Merch deliveries? Collab choices? Content style? I think the misconception you're making here is that the complaint is about the outcome of the server. Nothing in this post chain is actually about what the correct decision should be, just that she should never have promised something different. Has there been an investment of time and money on an indie vtuber that hasnt even debuted yet? I was very much fine with following Ekko reguardless of if there was / wasn't a discord, I'm just happy she has the freedom to take her content in a direction she wants to instead of needing to kowtow for every decision. I'd rather her be able to change her mind as a free indie, things are bound to change in the future as well as time passes, and I'll still be watching her as long as she streams. (and I enjoy watching her)
But that is only possible because despite "GFE content" I've never been under the delusion that GFE = dating.
At the end of the day a woman is a woman.
