I think all of this is because A-chan left. As the co-founder, she was the talents' only voice to the executives and all of these graduations started happening the moment she left. While A-chan was there, the only hololive graduations that ever happened in 6 years were Aloe, Coco, and Sana, none of which were caused by what is happening right now.It really feels like this was all brought on by the IPO and the executives decided to do or change something that A-chan couldn't stomach, and so she left the company under the guise of "having to take care of a family member". The way she disappeared without even a goodbye stream has always rubbed me the wrong way and it really feels like she was forced out for not wanting to go through with something the business side of the company wanted.

And I like most of those characters. It is so bizarre, when some long running TV series end the characters don't just split off and continue existing in their own worlds.
