Alright I'll bite, I have a lot to say and I haven't shared much of my paranormal experiences outside of conversations with my wife. Most of my childhood memories are extremely intense and vivid nightmares that were so lucid I began confusing real life and my dreams regularly and constantly getting jump scared by demons, one in particular who resembles the werewolf from the 3rd Harry Potter movie but it wasn't him in particular, but very similar in proportion and color. This thing would constantly be around corners or waiting behind windows to scare the fucking life out of me and I'd wake up in a confused panic. Around this same time my dad was a recovering drug and alcohol user, and was becoming very religious. Had "how to get rid of demon" books in the house and would cleanse the house with sage. Both of my parents even joined a paranormal ghost hunting group called fire and ice, they had a early Internet podcast called the white noise forums I believe. Both my mom and dad claim to have been visited by the exact same demon one night, swearing to God it wasn't sleep paralysis and that they were awake and attacked by the real fucking deal, and they told me this when I was around 11 which solidified my fears, and caused me to have some sleep conditions that fucked up my entire middle school/highschool life. My dad also recalls me seeing children that aren't there all the time when I was young, frequently asking about children that weren't there. One time I was home alone and the walls started banging extremely hard next to me as I was walking down the hallway, as if someone was running on the wall by my side, and I bolted the fuck out of the house and waited for my parents to come home. I write everything off as sleep issues and my parents giving me crazy anxiety at a young age causing me mild hallucinations and bad sleep paralysis.
