Would there be a way to do this permanently? Like replacing your younger self’s consciousness with your current one’s? Or by merging them somehow?
>>
I have precognitive dreams but they're usually pretty insignificant. On the other hand they are a good reminder for me not to take the simulation so seriously. An example from yesterday, I had a dream that I was talking to a friend about music and I asked him if he was a fan of 'Doctor Demento' and in the dream my friend got offended. A few hours later I got up and went to a flea market 45 minutes from my home and while looking at vintage T-shirts on a rack I saw a 1980's iron on T-shirt with none other than 'Doctor Demento' on it. I am not a Doctor Demento fan, I've never heard his radio show or seen him on TV or anything. I don't know much about 'Doctor Demento' aside from the fact that he was a radio host in the 70's or 80's that played novelty music and satirical songs. He was already off the airwaves by the time I was born. This seems like a totally meaningless precognition dream to me but they happen all the time.

I think what matters most is that you have an "anchor point" in time. Meaning both moments in time have to be deliberate and connected, for example with a strong memory. To send a message to your future self you'd have to have an emotional connection to a moment that hasn't happened yet. I don't know how you would do that.
I never really meditated on this as a kid or adult, so I don't think it's connected to meditation necessarily.

Holy fucking cope. Being an Indian is like winning negative lottery, where you're actually in-debt, because you're that much of a loser. Nobody with average IQ or higher will love you or take you seriously. Enjoy your room temperature IQ treatment

It's actually pretty easy and simple.
>meditate to get into the most concentrated state you can. Doesn't have to be jhana, but it helps
>if you haven't got stream entry yet, do Mahasi Noting. Otherwise, the mind will naturally go in the right direction without techniques to get to the next stage
That's pretty much it, you just gotta put in the work.

One key is realizing that whoever is the strongest gets to rule over the weak and meak. You may not be in control of the physical laws, but you will be in control of the physical environment which relies on the physical laws to exist and you will have dominion over that physical space and you will be able to do what you want with the physical resources available. In human terms? If you were the strongest person alive and unkillable then you would be kind of like a god and you would be able to take down the globohomo system or takes charge of it for yoursef. You would be able to rule over the globohomo. Let's get crazy and say that somehow you bocome stronger than God then you would be able to make God your little bitch, You would be able to trap God inside some kind of world you create just for Him and you would be able to fuck with Him whatever you wanted. You could even rape God if you wanted, why not? You are stronger than Him. It's not like there are some kind of thing which would limit you. Somehow you became stronger than God so God is your bitch now. Personally? I would make God look so weak and pathetic. I may be prijecting here, but I would totally make God look weak at the eyes of everyone who once feared Him. All those silly christians and shit. I would rape God right in front of them and teach them a lesson.

>When a monk utters words about knowing & developing, saying, ‘I know this Dhamma; I see this Dhamma; I am developed in body, developed in virtue, developed in mind, developed in discernment,’ but he remains conquered by greed, conquered by aversion, delusion, anger, hostility, hypocrisy, spite, selfishness, evil envy, or evil longing, then it should be known of him that, ‘This venerable one does not discern how it is that, when one discerns, greed does not come into being, which is why he remains conquered by greed. This venerable one does not discern how it is that, when one discerns, aversion… delusion… anger… hostility… hypocrisy… spite… selfishness… evil envy… evil longing does not come into being, which is why he remains conquered by evil longing.

>And how is one developed in body and developed in mind? There is the case where a pleasant feeling arises in a well-educated disciple of the noble ones. On being touched by the pleasant feeling, he doesn’t become impassioned with pleasure, and is not reduced to being impassioned with pleasure. His pleasant feeling ceases. With the cessation of the pleasant feeling there arises a painful feeling. On being touched with the painful feeling, he doesn’t sorrow, grieve, or lament, beat his breast or become distraught. When that pleasant feeling had arisen in him, it didn’t invade his mind and remain because of his development of the body. When that painful feeling had arisen in him, it didn’t invade his mind and remain because of his development of the mind. This is how one is developed in body and developed in mind.
>>

you develop deep levels of samadhi using the breath for samatha practice in order to make the mind refined and powerful. then this refined, powerful, peaceful mind can be applied towards insight. this is the actual, core teaching of early buddhism. hence samatha-vipassana is a thing and buddha didn't say to not cultivate levels of jhana/samadhi, rather he said that when the dharma declines, samadhi will no longer be encouraged. we are in the age of decline hence hillside hermitage, pure land practice, dry insight movement, etc. you quote thanissaro bhikkhus translation on here all the time, you should look into what he has to say on this subject and consider leaving the dry insight ideology, it's not serving you. just trying to help you because you seem like a sincere seeker and i think you've fallen prey to a false teaching. hillside hermitage have committed many years of their life to vipassana-only ideology, they won't give it up, you don't have to go further down that path. monks and abbots that don't seem happy or peaceful shouldn't be followed, and if seem upset and angry for some reason... its bc theyre doing something wrong.. in hillside hermitages case its this 'avoid samadhi and deeply concentrated states' ideology. hope you can exit that cult.
>>41732154
dry insight monks teach a contrived form of jhana, they redefine it to fit their vipassana-only ideology. some even say 'jhana just means meditation, all meditation is jhana'

Strange one that sat with me for a while
>in a dense lush forest
>tall ass trees, can’t see the tops through opaque jungle-like haze
>forrest in habited by people who spoke an unknown language and lived for thousands of years

>go inside and climb up ladder to the top
>at the top is an open-roof platform that is sitting above a perfectly still ocean with no land in site

To become rich enough to afford to have two wives at the same time, eight children and a spacious house to accommodate our family, our kin, but apparently it will also require owning a family business.
>>
I have these dreams of a vast and terrible landscape of rolling hills covered in black and brown ash with no grass or trees, all burned away.
And within these plains there are cities that build up high into the sky and blanket the land and shadow the horizon.
There is a dream in this where I wake on a hill and see, in the distance away from me and below, a vast and impenetrable city that hugs the shore of an ocean of fire, and the spires and towers are winding towards the gray and oddly cast sky that simmers and roils in its writhing paleness like the thickest and most vile industrial smog.
There are also domed and circular behemoths that lie in the city, splitting apart the rigid scene, and are like squatting frogs that sit so out of place one must imagine they are totally foreign and not made for humans at all; totally smooth and immense they are black gems that bejewel the grid that spirals around them.
Then, I am suddenly stolen away into the innards of the city, I blink and the blackness of the void from the haze cast over my eyes takes me cleanly in my breath and puts me without my will wheresoever it desires.
And there I am, with the buildings and architecture around me, and the towers are like Gaunt leviathans frozen in stone by a wicked medusa who trapped them in their flesh, and the behemoths are like curled dragons with a resonating hum that drives itself into my head like the ringing of a bell or the battering of a blacksmith's hammer; the shadows they cast engulf me and I live in the blackened grounds though the sky above is pale and breathes over me.
These towers are boiling out of the ground, this red and sickened ground, and they seem like ill-natural fixtures that had grown too long for the sunlight and are frozen in the end of the world and at the end of time, grown out of a bleeding soil and left to decay and become hollow in themselves.

How likely is it that the content that is given to the public is AI or demon generated?

I am talking films, shows, books, videos, news, and more being released to us without prior knowledge of it being AI or demon produced.

I just have this feeling with alot of the content now that the stuff being pumped out is off and not really being made by actors, especially in Regards to porn and many YouTube videos.

I have a feeling it has been going on for a while though, and the AI being released now is a slowdrip way to disclosure this fact. It also makes since that if this is a simulation, that most if not all of the content you consume was vomited up by the sim and not by real people.

The demon angle is less talked about, but just as valid imo.

What do you guys make of this possibility?

Thanks in advance as always!

as spooky as it sounds, it's probably the AI trying to imitate skits that are sometimes randomly added at the end of a song, I remember brockhampton doing stuff like that a lot just out of the top of my head, the AI probably grabbed a song like that to use as template, but obviously something like that requires further human context that the ai would never be able to parse
>>41733161
same goes for this, the fact that words are unintelligible further proves my argument, ai used specific songs that features these skits, and since they are rare, it doesn't have enough sample to off from
>>41733183
that one's really cool though

According to the Christian faith, angels live in heaven and do not participate in the affairs of people living on Earth. Angels who descended from heaven to participate in people's lives, for example, to help in something, are called fallen angels by Christians, and this word is identical to demons. I don't think that only people are engaged in creativity on Earth, may this planet be blessed, people are helped or hindered by some supernatural beings, depending on the case.

But you can buy a house and rent it out to tenants and live on that money. This will not give you the opportunity to have 15+ children, but it may well feed you personally, and perhaps even your wife and one child.

Okay, I'll be honest, I'm not very responsible when it comes to forcing a tulpa. Whenever I try, I get lost, and sometimes I don't want to continue. I feel guilty, and my urges only get worse. Is there anyone available who could help me with this? Maybe by supporting me or letting me know. I don't have many people who support me in my process of creating a tulpa; some even reject it. Please, it would be a huge help, guys.

Welcome. The purpose of this general is to show you how to use your own wonderful human imagination to achieve your every desire.

The world and all within it is man’s conditioned consciousness objectified. Consciousness is the cause as well as the substance of the entire world. So it is to consciousness that we must turn if we would discover the secret of creation. Knowledge of the law of consciousness and the method of operating this law will enable you to accomplish all you desire in life.

Your assumptions right now decide how long that will take for you.

The Main Concepts:
> Imagination creates Reality
> Assumptions harden into fact
> Consciousness is the only Reality
> Feeling is the Secret
> Prayer, Living in the End/In the Wish Fulfilled (remaining Faithful to your Idea)
> You are the Operant Power
> There is no one to change but Self (Self-Concept)
> Thinking Fourth-Dimensionally (Time is an Illusion)

This is probably obvious but I noticed the more I flip flop on my internal state, the more I give in to doubt and overthinking, the more that the world flip flops on giving me opportunities for my manifestation.
I had some breadcrumbs, then gave in to doubt, and the breadcrumbs disappear. Then I conquered doubt (not fully but a little), more breadcrumbs, and then I start obsessing over the breadcrumbs, which I guess is a needy state of lust for result, moreso than when you having nothing, and once again they go away. Then I get over that, and now more breadcrumbs.
I wonder what the next big obstacle would be, or if there even is one. I catch myself thinking that the breadcrumbs are not good enough and "I want the full thing or nothing at all" but I recognize that's toxic and don't get caught up in it.

Just thought I'd share since thread is extremely slow anyway and maybe it'll help someone.

enlighten me anon, where does the esoteric islam rabbit hole begin?

I've reached this point as well in my observations, it seems the Quranists were likely right all along and the book was all you needed, that's all they had for the first 200y and then the institutionalized islam showed up, hadith/sunnah is where all the problems of islam really come from and all the nitpicky rules that take you away from God.

It's pretty easy to see why the Hadith and Sunnah became important in institutional Islam, with the Ulema in charge. The various countries that implemented a system of 'Alim and a "clergy" for a lack of a better word. Most of the Hadith are either questionable or of doughtful veracity. Most of the hadith back up practices that would later be made essential by the Wahabbis aka the fake Salafi. Those wannabe Salafi were against many things that were part of the early Ummah's practices, from revering deceased prophets and members of Ahl al Bayt to saying salaam to Muhammad. The Salafis most likely were set up by British MI6 agents, like Lawrance of Arabia types. Also Jews playing Arabs. Like how the Freemasaons do it.

As for esoteric Islam, it is widely distributed into various groups that act as a kind of Arab Illuminati. One of them is the Druze. Shia also have a huge presence in it. It is very very Tassawuf inspired.

Doubtful, but my point stands on its own despite that small mistake.
