Man, I love this manga. Nips just so rarely can pull off Neuro's sort of humor, that dry and sarcastic take on the tsukomi schtick. It's like he's the straight man and the joker at the same time how he plays his jokes.And something about the way the art goes. It's both unrefined but so interesting at the same time, and the surrealistic panels are simply great.For some reason I've put off reading assclass and elusive samurai. I feel like I should change that but the vibe I get from them is that they just aren't like neuro.

I might be mistaken. Anime original endings were indeed in vogue back then, now they wait for enough source material to fill a season or two and generally remain mostly faithful to source material, truncating for time and content reasons.
