You can see it in the backgrounds and faces of the characters in scenes that are not given very much love. The original had a far more distinct look and despite Kevin Penkin being my favorite modern composer his OST is not able to match the original OST IMO. Otherwise the story is the same and it's the same main voice actors giving the same performance. The only way the remake will have a leg up on the original adaptation is if it actually adapts the whole story.
