Some people don't like Robin's character arc through the series, for me it's an important aspect of him. I hated what they did with it in Nisei pretending Robin's fall from grace was due to Kinnikuman, when Robin did it to himself ultimately. Classic story of pride and hubris, the way the 2011 series handled his characterization was good.
