Lolita parasols are nice for sun protection!!
I am new to makeup, what sort of eye products would I need to achieve this look with the red and black? Certainly some kind of black eyeliner to start, but I wanted to ask here if anyone had advice
>>10938154if I use sunscreen and a parasol at the same time will my sunscreen last longer?
>>10938165Well, first of all about the lolita parasol, unless they specifically mention an UPF index on it, I don't think they'd provide as much protection as you think, especially if it isn't black (the darker it is, the higher the protection). Now, about the sunscreen: no, using SS with a parasol won't make the SS last longer, or at least not as much as you think. SS are made to last 2 hours when used outdoors and in a situation of intense activity like running, or just sweating a lot, and if the "screen" often gets disrupted for example if something keeps on rubbing on the place you've used the SS. So yeah, even though you might think that having less UV hit the SS thanks to the parasol will make it last longer, if you're sweating a lot or let's say you're wearing a mask (which provides only minimal protection) and it keeps on rubbing on your face (like, you see how foundation and lipstick always stain the inside of the mask), or if you have an habit of rubbing your eyes or nose, obviously the SS will not last that long.I'd still recommend using both SPF and parasol together to maximize the sun protection, also add a wide brimmed hat - to hell with smol kawaii lolita hats, when you're outdoor always use those dark, thick wide brimmed hat you see those Korean grandmas wearing, and just switch to your lolita headpiece when you get indoors or if you're about to take pictures. This is even more important if you're wearing makeup and you prolly won't be able to reapply SPF often (remember: reapply every 2 hours if outdoor, you can stretch it to 4 or so if you constantly stay indoors tho)
>>10938154>>10938155>>10938156Grazie, nonna. I was afaid this would slip away with 0 replies which is why I'm totally not chiming in now with a shameless bump or anything of the sort
I got bleached hair and eyebrows and it looked my stylist died inside while doing it
I just started a job where I have to wear a hair net, and I can already see it fucking up my hair. How do I minimize damage to my hair? I have straight hair.
>>10938162Start with a very thin black eyeliner and a red eyeshadow (or red eyeliner if u prefer). Depending on ur skin tone ur going to want to shoot for cherry/bright red. Your also going to need a very thin brush. Like an angle brush to get a nice clean line. With this look. Less is more, so focus more on having clean straight lines vs thick messy lines
>>10938976Depends on the type of damage your experiencing. Most likely it's not the hair net at all (hair nets/bonnets can actually be really good for your hair) it's probably actually the HEAT from your job that's causing the damage. If I had to guess I'd say you probably work in a kitchen/food line? I could give some more specific tips but it depends on the type ofdamage.
>>10938978I work at a industrial bakery, so average temp is high, but I also walk into giant freezers frequently. My hair looks messy and dry, and the hair closest to my head does look like the hair net is damaging it, but I might be wrong.
>>10937727What does everyone use as a body moisturizer? I'm trying to move away from cerave and theres so many out there
>>10939014Curel ultra healing body lotion, it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a grease film like cerave. It has a more of a waxy feeling but it feels clean and moisturized.
>>10939014Regular jojoba oil.
>>10940418Oil does not moisturize ya mong it’s an occlusive it doesn’t work by itself if you have dry or dehydrated skin
>>10940433Yeah it does nothing that's why lotions are full of the stuff. Anyway were you born this stupid or did you have to work at it?
>>10940457Oil by itself doesn’t add moisture it only locks it in what part of it you don’t get. Dry skin will only get fucking oily it won’t be any more hydrated than it was before you slathered oil on top of it>that’s why lotions are full of the stuffYou mean actual moisturizers have SOME oil mixed in it? You recommended oil by itself you backtracking retard
>>10940463ok stay ashy then
>>10940472>nigger doesn't understand basic hygienecolor me shocked
>>10940473You literally use cheap drug store lotion
>>10939014Honestly, Palmer's Shea Lotion or, during winter, the actual big tub of shea butter. Right out of the shower. I swear by that shit along with their lip balm. It smells delicious and is super cheap.
>>10940484that was my first post itt so how about you go rub some coconut oil on your smelly two weeks unwashed hair and calm down next time you feel the urge to schizopost.
>>10940491I'm not even black.
