Kiana can do it all, from writing to storyboarding to design to managing a small team. She worked to her strengths while keeping IDWTBAMG feasible by keeping it in animatic form. The only things she really needed help with were voices and music, and she made it work. Charlie Gavin just seems like the type who wants to rush into "having a hit show." And I hate to go there, but the fact he's a recovering alcoholic should've been a sign that he's maybe not the best person to be the founder of a brand-new 'independent animation collective.'
